Trouble with Toon and auto interaction

Got a Toon that sometimes works properly, other times does not.

Log on and everything is fine and remains that way.

Log on another time and can't interact with door/chests/switches ect. They do not illuminate when approached and I have to use mouse to click on them to activate/ interact. Usually (when things are working) I just walk up and item illuminates and I press my interact button and viola!

Now this is not on my Toon, but another member of our party. It does this to him and it does the same thing to me on my PC, so nothing to do with the saved files on PC. Either something on the server or who knows what.

Just wondering if there is something in settings I can check when it happens and see if I can't fix it.

there was a bug that has a similar description of the issue you describe here. It was caused by blocking and getting lag. The "work around" for that was to switch weapon sets.

I don't know if that same thing will work for you, but it is worth a shot.

Thanks for the suggestion. Gave it a try but no dice.

Was hoping there was an on/off activation in settings or something that I could check when it's buggy.

something that is on\off by a keystroke is autotarget, check your key mapping for yours, mine is G but can't remember if it is default or custom.

Looked through as much as I could see and one of the other things I noticed is that when this happens, the health indicators above monsters is also gone. I found where that is and switched back on and it works. I'll take another look and see if I can fix auto targeting
