still people complained it wasn't being announced enough.
I have seen it every time on DDO facebook page.

Cordo - Is it possible to have an in game message AT LOGIN that shows the upcoming downtime? I just logged in but had forgotten the 9AM restart. Ran to a quest, started it, and within a few minutes the world shut down.

I know you used to do a (manual?) broadcast, but broadcasts aren't persistent.

I would think that you could simply set up a message of the day type of announcement in the general channel similar to our guild motd.

Even if you could repeat the last couple of broadcast that would be better.

Absolutely. But this functionality would not be limited to Wednesdays. It would actually be helpful the other 6 days.

If I recall, this was a functionality of online text based games back in the 80's.

I don't consider this to be an unreasonable request.
