Normally I don't worry too much about how specific Spell Power displays on the character sheet. Big numbers good, small numbers bad. Burn, burn burn, dance through their ashes pausing briefly to harvest their souls.

But this is absolutely driving me nuts. I've stripped all my gear, enhancements, epic destiny points, reaper enhancements off to get nekkid numbers.

Universal spell power
64 Spellcraft
30 Legendary Scion of the Plane of Fire
3 Inherent Spell Power (tomes) x3

The 202 Fire Power reconciles correctly based on Universal Spell Power being 97. So why does universal spell power only display 93 on the character sheet?

What race/class?

I think it might just be some confusion over how things are and from that you might be misunderstanding how the maths is worked out.

Looking at those numbers purely, we can see that Universal is listed as 93 and Force is made up of 157 and Fire is at 202.

3 (tome) + 30 (Feat) means you have 33 + (an unknown) 60 to make up your Universal power.
3 (tome) + 30 (Feat) + 64 (Spellcraft giving to Force Spellpower) means you have 97, and also coincidentally + 60 to make up your Force power to 157 as listed.
3 (tome) + 30 (Feat) + 64 (Spellcraft giving to Fire Spellpower) means you have 97, and also coincidentally + 60 to take your Fire power to 157 to which you are then missing 45 Fire Spell Power.

Can you confirm you have something granting 60 potency (that covers Universal Spell Power) as well as 45 Fire Spell Power (Tiefling Cores 1 through 6?)? If so, that's your answer. Spellcraft provides Force and Untyped but not Universal Spell Power.

Potency is not the same as universal. It adds to each one individually rather than to universal. Spellcraft adds to Fire, Cold, Acid, Electric, Force, & Untyped. It's also not universal. Repair adds to repair. Heal to Negative & Positive. Unsure about Poison. This includes stat bonuses to those skills; ie. more wisdom translates into a little more Negative & Positive via Heal Skill.

The one I usually forget to add is implement, which (I think) does add to universal. But, you're totally naked of gear & tree bonuses. That would just leave level, class, & feats. Epic Power is the only thing I can think of that might cover you:

Epic Power is a special feat automatically granted at each Epic level, giving +6 Melee and Ranged Power, +6 Universal Spell Power
So, 60 universal for L30 (or 66 if it starts at L20 and not L21).

Ahhh, most excellent. :) Yeah, this last bit. Totally forgot about that, as OP did say with a Scion Feat which is clearly Level 30. Which would account for the 60 Universal there from Spell Power from each Epic Level. :)

Poison Spell Power was in a funny place. It's been powered by different things from memory throughout history, so I'm not even sure what increases it now or if anything does at all.

And good catch on the Potency gaff, I've not looked over Spell Power in ages and totally forgot about that now. :)

Gold star that man, was including Spellcraft in with Universal which you're 100% spot on, it doesn't apply to everything. Poison works off Spellcraft too.

Universal Spellpower
60 Feat: Epic Power (x10)
30 Feat: Scion of the Plane of Fire
3 Special Feat: Inherent Spell Power
93 Total

Fire Spellpower
93 Universal Spellpower
64 Spellcraft
20 Feat: Epic Spell Power: Fire
10 Feat: Scion of the Plane of Fire
15 Guild: Sign of the Silver Flame
202 Total

So neither a Display Bug or a Math Bug :) Problem exists between chair and keyboard :)
