Made light war hammer with (advertised) +15 enhancement INT, +7 insightful INT, 35% fire absorption and Ash property.

Since I'm already wearing +14 enhancement INT and +6 insightful INT, I expected INT to go up +2 but it did not.

Upon testing it I figured out it has +12 enhancement INT and +6 insightful INT. Definitely would have done all absorption if I had known.

The fire absorb appears to be working (char sheet) and I can only hope Ash works.

The item says it has all these effects (+15/+7 INT, 35% fire absorb, Ash).

It's not exaggeration to say this falsely advertised version does not make the cut for offhand (that's how it works).

Probably some description text wasn't updated along with the stat squish a while back to reflect the new values. /bug report it.

It was like +22 not +15 before the stat squish though.

It has been advertised as a +15 since day 1. If it was +22, they would have majorly predicted the spike in stats since 2015.

It's definitely the stat squish, Sharn was +21 and Ravenloft +19 and both of those are/were higher tier gear, +22 was only on the highest tier raid gear and artifacts. As PITA as it is to make Leg Greensteel simply isn't as high tier as those other options, under the old system it was +15/+7, now apparently it's +12/+6.

The descriptions are obviously left over from the old system, report it and hope Lynabel gets to it at some point.

Seeming like green steel for the most part is just a waste now, basically good for one or two specific items that could help, maybe a stick or two for certain things, a few swap items for haggle or other skills, and otherwise we're all just playing Shroud for nostalgia. The sets seem not worth it outside of epic leveling before level 28 or so. At least Tier 1/2 ingredients are basically free and I can fix this item.

U50 and U51 were rushed. After U50 hit there were many stats still wrong, but most of the issues I discovered have been fixed. In this case the actual stats should be 13 for int to match other level 26 raid items, e.g., mark of death, but it sounds like someone just winged it instead of comparing it to other similar raid items.

As far as ash if you are fire-based or negative-based caster exceptional and quality spellpower are nice options for tier 2 and 3. It's just another thing in a long list of things that favors fire.

I can only hope Ash works. I can't see the Ash property when my LGS is un-equipped, but when it's equipped I can see the LGS weapon effect. If it's equipped and you don't see the ash property you might have an issue. Tier 3 requires negative + fire + the other 2 mats (e.g., negative + fire + ethereal + dominion for the 37 exceptional fire spellpower). If you did fire + 2 mats or negative + 2 mats it won't give the ash effect.

SALT is one of the most powerful abilities against mobs and as far as I know it's only available on LGS. Ash, Ooze, Dust, Vaccuum are all great for debuffing and can be cycled. If anything these are some of the most OP things in the game, but have diminished over time as characters have grown in power.

Typical dev logic would say now that's it's a smaller part of character power it's time to nerf it so people stop using them completely.

I wonder if Slavers machine text pop up/gear is wrong too.
