Can we normalize the volume of the music throughout the game?

I know, many people turn the in-game music off and listen to whatever they want, but not everyone does this. I enjoy in-game music, and prefer to have it on. However, some locations (Sharn is the worse offender off the top of my head) have volume levels that are WAY OFF compared to the majority of the game. It's SO LOUD! Jarringly so. I either have to remember to change my in game music volume levels before and after going there, turn all my computer volume down when I enter, or just turn all music off all the time, in order to have an acoustically enjoyable experience playing the game.

I know, but this bug over here, that bug over there, or new content, or... these things do not have to be exclusive endeavors. They can work on more than one thing at a time. I just want to bring to light that this issue (wildly varied music volume levels) is causing a detriment to my ability to enjoy the game, in the hopes that it can be fixed (normalized so some areas don't blast your ears off).

Please?

I get the same thing with the narration / DM voice / sentient voice - can be very inconsistent in level.

Signed.

We were talking about this last night while running the Dryad and Demigod. (The music in that one is actually under the Ambient slider.) Most of us in the group had every game volume set somewhere between .01 and .02 (out of 1.0) while the Master Volume and Voice Volume where set to 1.0. We had to drop all the game sounds to their lowest level so we could hear each other talk. Is that normal?

I agree wholeheartedly with the OP. The crafting hall is another place where the music seems to turn itself up. As the OP said, please normalize the music volume across the game.

Normalize all sounds, Go grab Von raid for instance.

I've been complaining about Sharn volume since day 1 but I was told 'it's supposed to be that way because... it's a loud place...?'. I am more likely to believe it was an accident turned into a feature
