So, my friends and I have a small guild we've had for quite a while. I'm the guild leader but I noticed recently our guild renown reward for picking up chest items has started going down. Looking at DDO wiki on the algebra required to figure this out, it looks like its to do with the number of accounts and whether they are active or inactive? I think if you always have at least one character in an account in the guild and it never logs in then that doesn't count but as soon as you login it counts to active guilds and you may reduce guild renown xp.
The rules are really annoying to get your head round.
At any rate, it doesn't look like DDO gives guild leaders any idea just how many accounts a guild has and if they are active or not so its left to total guesswork for us. It seems like an oversight unless there's somewhere you can find this info out?

If you look at the Guild Renown page on the wiki, it gives the multiplier for each number of accounts (up to 50).
So if you have less than 50 accounts you could work it out by earning some renown and looking at the multiplier.

If you mouse over your guild level in the guild tab of the social panel it should tell you.
I think default "o" for social panel.

This,
If you are small guild I believe the optimum number is 6 active accounts.
