Shard Exchange

I saw in another thread, someone said that +12% dodge augments go for a good amount on the shard exchange, I went and checked my bags, and saw I had 8 of them, so I checked the exchange, and placed 2 on there.
My point is I don't know what people are looking for, someone once said to me that certain hair dyes are looked for, I just vendor that stuff.
So I would like to have this thread be a list of what people are looking for in the Shard exchange so, I can go though my bags and post the things I have, to sell things, and maybe bring down the prices also.
So pls post what people look for on the exchange, the range of prices you see, and we can all get that stuff on there for people. btw, I'm on cannith, but this can be for any server.

Ok point blank... any augment that can not be bought in store you can mark up
You try to sell vendor trash without augment slots for anything more than 5 shards you are nuts
Just saying I seen things in the Shard selling for like 125 shards that I would not pay more than 12-15k plat for and then they would have to be level 30 and I am looking to deconstruct something for essence if I am rushed.
Some people need a reality check. Post it for 9k I am buying that first.
Of course people put things in Auction they don't have bank slots for or as a way to clear their TR cache on the fly. If you are not marking up things you know people are not going to buy just to retrieve them later, and honestly believe you are going to nab a lot of shards from vendor trash... the people doing this know who they are... you are delusional.
I won't buy a two slot item for more than 45 shards and that is high end for a commonly used weapon.
There are exceptions. If the effects of the item are all harmonized with each other and are 3-4 effects...you got a prize to consider buying. If not... put it up for plat. No one is trying to go through all your garbage.

What I do look for...
Thunderforged ingots and other ingredients for crafting outside cannith
More rare but commonly used collectibles... stone fetish, sparkling dust, withered cryptmoss, lodestones etc easily obtained but annoying to grind for. Make a guild field trip for them and it will be worth your while.
Augments you can't buy as stated.
Rare filigrees...
Anything of skill of insightful skill, augment slots, or a third or forth effect
Harmonized items would be like con, vitality, false life..adding a lot to one area to great effect
Those are primarily the things I look for.

Your dodge augments start bid at 75 with buyout of 150.
Don't post them all at once or you will get low balled.

If something is going for shards it's for a reason...you probably don't have a bunch of them just sitting in your bag, or else everyone else probably does too..And likewise if it was easily farmed then there's no point in spending shards on it either.

The three main things I flip for shards easily:

- sentient xp stones
- rare fils, especially caster stat ones, double especially if from a good set
- rare (non vendor) augs

Honorable mention to shield/tome frags from Orchard. Also of course unbound Tomes.

All people are different, that for you garbage, for another - a necessary thing for which he is ready to pay... and pay a lot. So yea, someone need reality check... ;)

I ready buyout all your rare metal double colors slotted throwing weapon like shurikens/darts/daggers for 100-150 AS... same as double green/yellow bracers/rings for 150 AS. Why? Because i can resell it with at least double better price. Deal?

Sure, more sentient food always is good, lol. Last time i get about 15k sXp from Tforged ingots only for 6kk plat, it almost 2.5 better than price i usual pay for sXp.

This positions almost dead now, same as parent CC.

Or cannot buy easy, at least, like Exceptional or Insightful stats.

Sure, with such recommend buyout personally i will buy all you have, lol, to immediately resell three or five more expensive. 8)
Oh, and never put stuff in trade with such bad margins, really.
The 100% spread between the starting and buyout price is simply impractical and indicates the inexperience of the seller. And this, in turn, will lead to a loss of profit, because for the goods will not be traded by normal buyers, but only by traders like me or Enderoc, who never buyout it but instead buy close to the start price. The spread should never exceed 20%, and better - 10%.


Don't post them all at once or you will get low balled.

when I go to shard exchange looking for sentient filigrees to fill the set.
endless night type augments .
double augments slotted craftable items
would rather spend platt for them all, but 1 million platt maybe easy for some but its 1/2 my total platt from all my 10 characters.
I scan the AH by duration hoping to get a low bid in at the last min .
ya I'm not paying 500k platt for 3 pages form a torn notebook so....
