Currently no way to do that; that functionality might be added back at some point in the future.

The only way I know to make it work - not suggesting it .... - is to get a temp CC# from your card company and I would only do it if they let you set a dollar amount on it as well .. then give your friend that number and they use it to buy points ...

bad workaround but as far as I know its the only way.

The bad part .. you have to trust your friend to do what you ask, you have a time limit on those temp #s, the store may not like a temp number, as I have not tried this I don't know how well it would work, it should be possible though.

There is possibly a way to transfer funds through PayPal too...from your account to your buddy

You could also give a steam gift card to them and then they could use that to buy points.

Don't get why SSG doesn't want us to give them $$. The whole inability to gift stuff is just plain ridiculous.

Yeah I know a lot of players who just (temporarily) quit the game because they can't keep up with the game... They can't get Sharn, Feywild and Saltmarsh unless they farm DDO points non stop. And even then they still can't get the newest Expansions on release (because they release $$$ only). They get so far behind other players who do have access to these Expansions (gear wise, races and builds (enhancement trees are locked until they release for ddo points which they need to farm for the Expansions). And when they see DDO Market sales they just cringe because they have to miss out on those deals because there is no gift option.
