Feydark + Warlock ES Shield interaction WAI?

Hi, this is my first forum post.

I was testing out a weird swf enlightened spirit feydark illusionist build
(I'm probably the only person crazy enough to do so)

I noticed that the T2 ES enhancement Shield "You permanently gain the effects of the Shield spell" wasn't giving me the extra 10 PR from the T2 FI perk "You've got my back".

I had my familiar summoned, and I tested with a shield scroll (Which did give me the PR)

Does anyone know if this is WAI?

Figured the odds of it being a bug were high since its an unusual build.

(I'm re-leveling mine in Epic now using the Magus aura and mobs practically melt around me)
(you should pick up the offhand versatility feat and use an orb - the spell crits are nice)

I noticed this and did some tests a few months back. It looks like once the MRR (or PRR from Nightsheild) bonus is applied, it will not go away by any means other than death.
Which would be why you're not seeing the increase.

I think using /death was how I was able to reset the test.

Just got back into the game after 7 years and was planning out my build.

I was actually worried about this too because I was planning to spec into shadowdancer once I got into epic (there's an enhancement that gives permanent nightshield at rank 3 in there. I was interested to see if the paranoia epic strike from the tree would work with my auras too.

Remember if you're abyss lock to refresh your death aura while crit is up, because it will snapshot 100 crit for the full duration of DA :D

This was not my experience last life. The Feydark Illusionist enhancement gave no PRR, but a Shield scroll or clicky did. I tested this a number of times over a two month period. I suspect Nightshield is bugged differently.
