Glamering Weapon Auras

Came back recently after a long absence. I see that you can glamer weapon auras. Can you glamer a weapon aura onto an orb? I'd like to do this if possible.

Good question.
At least I can say that one can do a cosmetic version of an orb, because I did so.

So apparently the mirrors can only change the existing aura on an item to a different one. But I've yet to see any orbs with auras. There are one or two nice options for cosmetic orbs, but on the whole there is pathetically little variety to orb appearances. I'd like to see some love for orbs-- more color options, opaque images within, and especially auras. I think light or electric or fire or dark energy auras would look awesome, and I wouldn't expect them to be difficult to implement. So how about it, devs?

Thanks for the heads-up. Some of these look great. But Mistfallen and Nether Orb are the only two I've come across in-game so far. They must be comparatively rare. Or maybe there just aren't many players using orbs.

Well a few are raid items... Hyrsam's Fiddle, Tome of Strahd, Sphere of Waves, Thunderforged (sort of), some are expansion only Stygian Wrath, Resplendent Fury, Immaculate Globe, Heart of the Prince, Mistfallen Orb. The first two raids ones are also from expansions. Some are just from older content that either is no longer run or aren't worth equipping because they don't meet today's item standards Madstone Skull, Libram of Silver Magic, Blazing Sun, etc.

When I come up with cosmetic ideas I rarely think about what effects or powers an item would have except in a general thematic sense like a sun-like item might have light powers. I really only think about gear effects on Lammania when they don't make sense like Blur Fingered Gloves instead of Gloves of Innate Arcanum being part of the Beacon set or when the devs aren't being fair even to their own rules like Hruits only having heavy armor.
