What new bugs are going to be an issue from lvl 1 to 20?

Who is going to buy a rod of teleportation for immediate access to the portable hole? (me)
Any static groups getting ready?

I have to go out of town this week. So, my streaming of HC5 will start when I return.

As it is a repeat, my plan will be to run to 30 and clear the lvl20 and 10 reaper rewards.

And then in January once the end of the year traveling is done, I hope to fill a static group of mostly never5kers and get that monkey off a few backs. More details on that as we get closer to that start date.

Already did Hardcore League One&Done (as it was called before the producers resold it). So, don't need the rewards.

NOT buying any Shards, Hirelings, Ingredients, or Tomes.

I like to collect the level 20 cloaks, so since there's an unique cloak for it, I'll be running it.

As far as the store goes, every HC I buy the low package of shards to donate to whichever guild I end up joining and that's about it. I've died way too many times to go all out and buy tomes, etc for a char that'll be relegated to saga running after HC.

The leader of my team group doesnt buy any tomes and runs his reaper exclusively in a guild that has a base ship with 4 buffs and cost zero ddo points/money.

He believes they would truly get more money from the whales if they created a more certain death aspect to hardcore in regards to those that want to spend real money and do extreme challenge content. Dont let any quest re-entry and dont allow for any instant teleport escapes, make any of these such as word of recall have a brief 2 second timer with slow movement. They would
Make a lot more money this way because lots of players would be dropping like flies in challenging content.

As he say make hardcore actually hardcore

P.s. getting rid of some of the epic abilities like shesth is a start, but they should have left epic somewhat tough!

Bunch of gold rolls to be level 3. get loads of plat to buy things from them!
+8 supreme tome
Skill tomes (including UMD tomes)
rod of teleport
gold seal elixirs for the good healing
angels potions (to cure everything)
spell point potions
2000 shards for rerolls - there are lots of good low level clickies

correct, 5000 favor "was" a challenge without warning, or 4 other season or time to practice / prepare ... considering barely 100 people server wide even rose to and beat that challenge was amazing
you also have to remember the devs specifically worrying about “animation lag” and how they never intended for it to only be visible to the player .. Wonderful, now they are going to give it to every tom **** and harry who has had two years to practice.

for sure .. sadly, the first season was all about .. "wouldn't it be cool if..." and after the explosion of sales ion the store from all the people trying to buy a reward .. now hardcore is all about boosting sales. the fact that they are even to lazy to come up with a new reward is even worse.

A bit disappointed about the rerun, but I like HC regardless plus there is a new level 20 cloak. With 2 months, not sure if have time to hit the 5K favor.
Stuff to get? VIP and perhaps lowest marsh expansion pack (couldn't convince myself to buy any of the Feywild expansions even with black Friday pricing).
From store? some astral shards, a cosmetic hat, and possible one stats tome when on a good sale. Not sure what else.
As usual will create a guild (probably solo) and get a (plat) ship with some buffs (shards & plat); rapidly gaining guild level at the beginning is fun! But at higher levels likely will join up with one of the big guilds.

My group of five is having our final pre-hardcore teamspeak meet tonight to finalize our build choices for synergy. And you know, ******** around on teamspeak for an hour after the like 2 minutes that will take pretending we are being Very Hardcore Serious. :)
