Anyone else seeing WAY more reapers since U51?

So I don't play a lot anymore that is for sure but I still do play several tmies a week,

Since U51 I seem to see a LOT more reapers. I mean exponentially more. Used to be I would run an R1 at level as seem maybe 2 reapers in the whole quest. Sometimes none maybe as many as 5 on a busy quest. But post U51 I thought I was seeing more, but I was over 20 and they melted pretty quick so it was kind of hard to say for sure.

Well I TR'd and this is the 3rd consecutive quest where I have seen at least 3 reapers in the first couple of spawns and probably averaging 5-7 per quest regardless of it's length. Heck I just tried a Durk's and I didn't make it to the T intersection. I see Frenzy ding behind me thinking, there's a couple 3 oozes there how the hell did they kill him? Come around the corner and I see 2 Carnage and a Plague with 3 oozes. Needless to say they made quick work of my little sword n board drow.

I mean 3 spawned at the same time, if anything it's just getting worse for me. If I was running ranged or nuker it would be whatever they would never get close but on a melee. Well let's just say after the 3rd consecutive crazy reaper spawn quest and the last one spawning 3 at once right up front I just released and logged off for the rest of the week.

Anyone else seeing higher Repoer numbers in the lowby quests (or others) or am I just getting extraordinarily unlucky?

Tiny anecdotal data set, but I have been getting a lot in levels 4-8 myself. It's probably just random and I notice them more because they are more of a threat now that I am trying a bow build (god, so weak).

But who knows, their coding sparks all kinds of unintended bugs and effects.

Thought what the hell I will try it again this AM it's quiet in the house. Just finished Dirk's at level on R1. 5 reapers. first was famine in the room with the first trog. Second was a plague at the T intersection. 3rd was another plague in the boss on the left and 4 and 5 were in the end fight with the second boss on the right. Oh they were a famine and a carnage to boot. I finished it but frenzy died outright and quick and I pulled out the old Jibbers

5 reapers in a short level 4 quest at level on R1 seems a lot higher than normal and another multi spawn to boot.

Seems something might be a little off for sure. I really don't remember seeing that many Reapers running R1's in the past and for sure I haven't had a single quest without any (that I could run on Reaper obviously) since I TR'd.

My wife and I have been definitely seeing more as well, though it seems to me to not have started at 51, but a little before.

Could just be my memory wigging out though.

I don't play a heck of a lot anymore so it could just as easily be me.

I ran all the level 4's and some 5's today. Only had 1 quest that didn't spawn a reaper (Kobold's Assault of all things) and 2 that only had 1.

Most of them spawned a minimum of 3 and I would say the average was about 3.5

Just seems like a heck of a lot more than I am used to seeing.

If people are seeing more reapers but also raising skulls- that's working as intended. Reaper quantity does increase by skull.

ran r4 sable. went into the cellar. area where i think 8 or 9 spiders unburrow. each spider popped a reaper. was interesting.

All my runs were R1 so bare minimum for reaper. i am running them to maximize Quest XP and might as well pick up a little reaper along the way. I think I have 24 reaper points now and that does me fine for heroic TR'ing.

Couple months ago probably 1/3 of the quests had no reapers and usually just 1 or maybe 2 in the whole quest. Multiple times lately I have seen 2 or even 3 reapers in the same cluster.
