View Full Version : Broken Toolbars - After Iconic Reincarnation

So I performed an Iconic Reincarnation on my Aasimir Scourge this morning after hitting level 30.

All my tomes applied and so forth, was very relieved as my Rogue waits for CS to recover her tomes.

Unfortunately my toolbars are busted. I cannot move them, not one of the 10 toolbars that are placed in a pile on the bottom left of my screen. And none of the toolbars have their numbers on them beyond the first toolbar (1).

Tried restarting the client, changing skin (was in defaut/none), restarting. Any other ideas as the character is unplayable.

Note tried to post picture, but forum is being prickly this morning.

does CTRL = (CTRL while holding = sign) unlock toolbar position so you can move?

IIRC there's a UI option under settings which can lock the toolbars like you describe. I'm not near a pc with the game so can't look specifically where it is, but I know I've turned it on and it removes the numbers etc, like you're describing.

I always have used "Lock my shortcut Icons to the Shortcut Bar" on virtually every character, this is the first time it has stayed on through a Iconic (or Heroic/True) reincarnation for me.

Now to go spend some quality time with my toolbars. Which to me is the worst part of reincarnation.

Now to go spend some quality time with my toolbars. Which to me is the worst part of reincarnation.


Set them up then use /ui layout save (whatever)
Then when you reincarnate use /ui layout load (whatever the first one was)

You can have multiple setups. Just be aware if you have vertical bars you need to have that bar number turned ( or possibly undocked only ) prior to load.
