nope. you need the cores of 1 single destiny, they stack, + the top tier DC, + the single schools in lower tiers. one school bonus DC from a tree won't stack with the same school from another.

Typed bonuses in enhancements obey normal stacking rules. That's why they're typed.

I'm confused. If I put points into Moon Wizard to get cores 1, 2 and 3, and points into EA to get Cores 1, 2 and 3 (and don't take anything in the tiers that bumps DCs), is that +6 to all of my spell DCs, or only +3?

Needing 120+ for no fail is not the same as mobs having 120 fort save

And how much dc were you getting from EDs before? 3 from casting stat, maybe a twist from magister? Start squish affected DCs far more than the ED recap

Um, Magister gave 6, plus 6 in a school, plus 2-3 stat, plus another 5-10 from the save debuff. To go from +19-25 to 9 is a serious drop.

With the new changes i'm barely at 90 on my dc caster and i miss most of them - and i cannot think where to get more - it seems like they wanted to kill DC casters with this new system.

120 isn't no fail. I can hit 126-127 in multiple schools without a boost running and it still isn't no fail. Boosts on top of that isn't always 100%. I was no fail in U49 and U50 but not in U51. Talking about r10. DPS might be crazy in r10 now but mob saves didn't get adequately adjusted and DC casters have it harder.

I agree else what's the benefit of adding to the other tiers if none of the trees stack with each other that's the entire excitement of access to other trees, which is the total destruction of twists of fate not expansion of them.

I am super curious how you manage to get 126 DC after the 50/51 squish. I did some excel-ing, and all I could come up with is a Necro DC of 104 (@clvl 30, in Reaper, no temp boosts, no yugo pots, no arc spell surge, max RXP, Max sentient).

My alt wiz is in the same boat. I'm not sure what my main will manage, but it's not hopeful.

Either way, you're right, they should stack.

But even if they did, that's just another +6 to DCs. It isn't going to get you into even the 50% success range, if DC 120 is 50%.

Primal Avatar and Fatesinger? But then that locks the character that we're playing out of the T5 in Draconic Incarnation and "Time Stop" in Magus of the Eclipse. Guess you can't have cake and eat it too.

Also, you can't ask everyone to grind for a +2 Reaper hat.

Also, you cannot put +2 Int on an alchemical item. Its either +2 Strength, +2 Wisdom, +2 Constitution or +2 Dexterity according to the Epic Alchemical Crafting DDO page.

DCs aren't that important anymore if you can just no save DC CC with Time Stop or no save DC with Holy Command + Stand and be judged and then just DPS them off.
