If I have a weapon with +5 Deadly crafted onto it, will it give a greater chance of crits than if I have Gloves with +5 Deadly?

A) Deadly has nothing to do with crits at all, it just boosts your base damage
B) It works exactly the same regardless what slot it comes from
C) You dont want Deadly on your weapon since you can get it easily on other items, so save your weapon affixes for something more special. Or get a named weapon, even better. Deadly 5 suggests a L10-12 weapon...at that level you should be looking at Ravenloft weapons if you have that expansion, or Nightforge weapons if you arent THF. If Cannith crafted is really your best bet, just stick two Xd6 damage affixes on it

Thanks. This is helpful. Does Seeker stack with Swashbuckler? Improved Crit?

Again, nothing to do with each other. Seeker adds damage when you crit. Imp Crit improves your chance to crit.
Swashbuckler stance also improves your chance to crit, and as it says both on the wiki and in-game, it doubles when you have the Imp Crit feat. Feats generally stack with anything, so yes, you get the double Swash bonus to crit range and multi, then +1 more from Imp Crit itself.
The +damage on criticals from the Swashbuckler tree also stacks with Seeker gear. Generally, any Enhancement that isnt typed will stack with anything (eg the Swashbuckling stance grants you a Competence type bonus to your crit range and multi, so it wont stack with other Competence bonuses to crit range or multi)
