Quick question, got a friend to join but we don't have the same servers to select from. Anyone know why that might be?

What servers are you both showing?
Did one of y'all download the Lamannia (test server only) version of the game by mistake?

Server names are listed right there in the launcher. call your friend and say im clicking on this server why dont you do it too!

After login you have this selection, if you are using the official launcher. Just chose the same server.

unless it is the test server, but that is unlikely since it is rarely up

Just checking but you both definitely downloaded DDO? Be sure one of you didn't download Neverwinter online (it is allegedly D&D too lol).

Yeah, if you're both looking at a different list of server names, you don't have the same game. :confused:

The list/interface should look like the image Titus posted.

Yeah, now I'm curious!


(Note also that you can be on the same DDO server, but if one has not completed Korthos (or skipped it and ported to The Harbor) and other has, you can't form a party w/ each other.)

There is (or used to be) an option somewhere where you could have it so that when you logged in to the launcher, it would bypass the server selection and automatically take you into the last server you played. Perhaps one (or both) of them has this selected?

Once the servers are back up, I'll try to find where the option is, and screen shot it.

I guess we have to assume the op is a flat earther and found the edge and fell off...
