So i acquired some free points through questing and now i have nearly 850 points.
Now i want to buy a new pack and i'm torn between:
1 -The Mines of Tethyamar
2- Disciples of Rage
3- Peril of the Planar Eyes
I can only buy 1 and i'm not going to wait for sales.
I tend to solo and next life i'll play a warlock "i think".
Thankx for the help.

For loot - Peril has some very nice caster sticks. Disciples has a variety of semi-useful items for different classes although they are outclassed by other gear. Mines has no useful items.
For quests - Mines is the height of the throw high hp mobs at you phase the game went through. Peril is a DDO attempt at Indiana Jones which they sort of pull off in a few. Disciples is more xoriat/madness stuff.
Grouping - Yes you said solo, but if you do ever group...no one ever runs Mines. Both the others tend to fill.
Ranking - I don't love any of these to be honest. Peril comes the closest since a couple of the quests are inventive. Disciples would be second. I would not spend any points on Mines.

I would get Peril of the Planar Eyes out of those 3 choices. Especially if you're playing a caster of some sort, there is probably loot you can use from Peril.

I would go with disciples of rage for replayability and some useful loot.

Out of those 3 I would suggest going for Peril if your intending to play a caster or Rage if you intend to be anything else. Peril has a very good selection of caster sticks that are viable in both heroic and epic content and the quests are pretty easy once you know them. Disciples has a few nice items dotted about and they can be pretty good if you don't have access to the xpacks yet for the BIS items but the end fights for the last 2 quests in the chain can be pretty nasty until you work out how to beat them (the final quests end fight is especially brutal for solo play).
I would also add though if you don't have it yet I would pick up the demon sands before any of those 3. Sands will give you a nice xp boost in heroics at a point free content starts to dry up and a steady supply of tokens in epics. With the recent loot pass there are also quite a few nice items that can now quite easily be made epic to give you some decent starting gear when you hit level 20.

I have the first two. However, my instinct would be to go for Perils of the Planar Eyes just because it's one of the newest, and it DOES have some nice gear, especially for casters, including several minor artifacts. There's a charisma artifact (https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Brightgaze) which would be useful for a warlock - +14 CHA and +2 DC.
That said, I'd second the option of buying Sands of Menechtarun if you don't have it. It's a large pack, closer to a mini-expansion, which even includes a raid. The story is interesting, there's a LOT to do, people still run the quests, and with the recent loot update it has some great items, which are upgradable to epic/legendary items too.

I'm a solo player ... I usually play the Mines. I like the story.

- The Mines of Tethyamar is quite a nice pack with good story and level environments.
- Disciples of Rage has some really nice loot for casual Druids players. Level environments were a bit standard and boring to me.
I haven't played Peril of the Planar Eyes... maybe I should try that one too
You could also wait for the packs to go on sale rotation. You could get maybe 2 packs that way.
Also wouldn't surprise me if SSG would bring back the "Freeddoquests" at some point though. Or make it for sale for a nice price or add it too VIP.

Do you have the expansions? Because Disciples of Rage is the catalyst storyline that begins the Sharn Expansion. It has lots of neat little Easter Eggs throughout, the first quests aren't very long but the end quest... woo... not particularly fun especially solo. Mines of Tethyamar has a great storyline too but there are some seriously tedious slogs in parts. Very visually interesting though. Peril of the Planar Eyes is rather 4 individual quests that are very tenuously connected and not so much a coherent story however, they are different enough from most content to be refreshing but they aren't really the speed run variety except maybe the first one.
So it sort of depends on your criteria.
Story: I'd say Disciples wins with Mines a very close second, Mines does have a great voice actor
Loot: Peril wins, Disciples very close second
Variety and fun: Very subjective but for me Peril wins with Disciples a close second again
XP: ? Idk, i don't look much at this

Mines of Tethyamar has a great storyline too
I really have to disagree with these two posters. The Tethy story-line might start out looking good, but I feel it has a horribly cheesy cop-out ending that ruins it.
I'd go with the Rage chain, for both a variety of loot & the story tie-in to Sharn. Perils is a decent choice, too, though.

Many of the adventures have cheesy bad guy gets away to be faced later storylines... MotU was so rife with it, it was repugnant. The first real quest of Sharn starts with it. Its almost a staple of DDO story design. You can't let the end of one quest flavor the whole series or you're going to be soured to too much of the content.

Yeah I would go Rage if looking for all around questing and gear. Perils I enjoy quite a bit- but more caster loot than other gear for sure- but still has some decent melee items. Check wiki for all 3 packs and see what loot looks intriguing to you… as they are all pretty similar otherwise (heroic level range etc).
Def Mines sticks out as mob heavy in my mind, but so might rage. Perils is more story oriented questing than other 2.

Thank you every one for all the help as always.
This is one of the best communities so far in gaming.
I ended up getting Perils hoping to get some of that caster gear for my next life.
could have used an extra quest or 2 because they feel too short but the investigation quest was the best one IMO.
In the sale if i have the points i'll get the extra 2 "i have all the expansions but not feywild".

good choice, Eyes has the most entertaining quest in the game: Eye Know Who Dunnit. love that one and it is super farmable, almost impossible to ransack before you get what you want as each alternate ending has it's own unique chest that drops the same loot so you have to ransack like 4 different chests before you have to wait

1 -The Mines of Tethyamar
2- Disciples of Rage
3- Peril of the Planar Eyes
Do NOT get The Mines of Tethyamar under any circumstances. I consider it the worst adventure pack ever released.
The mobs have way more HP than mobs in other dungeons of their level
The mobs do way more damage than mobs in other dungeons of their level
The mobs appear in larger groups than mobs in other dungeons of their level
The mobs have much higher saves than mobs in other dungeons of their level
The Drow all have high spell resistance and are miserable to cast spells against.
The XP in the missions is pretty rubbish compared to the time it takes to complete them
There are lots of missions at the same level, all of which are more fun and rewarding to play
The mines missions are a miserable slog against lots of hard hitting bags of massive Hit Points. Avoid.

Perils is a good choice... it's a new pack and least likely to go on discount.

What Cru said.
Newer packs = better named items, as a rule. So, on that point, you made the right call.

If this is your first life, it'll still be slow, but once you start TR'ing (and that's easier now than it was a couple years ago), you'll find point rain down.
As a long-time Premium player, I spent a LOT* of time reflecting on the question/topic of "What quest pack to buy next?". Altho' there has only been a couple Sales in the last couple years, you can read my article (link in sig) on the subject.
(* no, more than that )
It's not short, but, as I say in the intro, if you're spending your hard-earned DP, a 15 minute read is a cheap investment.
(Note - if a question is worth asking, give the community more than a couple days to respond. Not everyone logs on every day. You're going to get all kinds of people responding, and for all kinds of reasons, logical and personal - it's a crapshot if you rely on the first few. Just sayin'. )

Definitely the newest pack that you can afford as a rule. Usually the newest pack has the best loot (not necessarily for the classes that you're playing), but like Saltmarsh, it has the "required" bits to upgrade items to Legendary or Perfect.
For warlock(s) may I suggest Peril?

Peril is the newest and thus has the best loot (especially for warlocks since you can get both level 12 and 29 caster weapons). The other two are more commonly run on high reaper for reaper experience if that is your thing, but that is something you only really do when sitting around at level 30.
