Epic feat Master of the Dead broken?

Just as title says, in game description says that it adds +10 caster levels on to Death Aura, Greater Death Aura, and Negative energy Burst...

Tried both DA and NEB on my wizard, and the numbers are the same as before, no change whatsoever.... they should've doubled...

Anybody else experience this? I would like some feedback before I go ahead and submit a bug report.

DA and NEB use a buggy formula for self heals where they increment every 2 caster levels...so even though they say MCL 10, you get that at wiz level 20

You should see bigger numbers on NEB against mobs though as that uses a different formula

Not sure of the description but adding to caster level does not circumvent maximum caster level last I knew.

The master feats add +10 Max Caster Level to those spells, Death Aura / Negative Energy Burst have been buggy for a long time and the dev's haven't really wanted to fix them yet.

one of the reason it's so hard to theorycraft this game. a lot of mechanics are never explained in-game. and the ones that are, sometimes just don't work, and you won't be able to tell unless you science it out.

So whats the point of the spell? The description saya Death Aura and Greater Death Aura...IDGAF about buggy mechanics, does it work on DA or not? That's what i got it for - NEB Works just fine and gives me full health, as my Neg spell power rocks...

All I know is on my level 25 PM , it makes ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE for healing on my Aura...I just want to know if it works or not, or how to get it to work...

Please, im not trying to sound like a d$xk , I don't GAF about mechanic's, just tell me if i need to do something to make it work, or if it is broken and I should swap out the feat...

Straightforward and incorrect

The feat works. It does what it is supposed to do. But what it's supposed to do doesn't actually accomplish anything, because of the mechanics you "DGAF" about...

If you're asking should you swap it out, then yes, you should. You can't "make it work" since the feat isn't actually broken, and there is no workaround for buggy spell mechanics like that. But it's unhelpful to anyone else reading this to misconstrue the actual problem just because you want an answer with zero nuance.
