I'm not sure exactly what Frogo's limits are, but while he can get the Saltmarsh traps on reaper, he can't disable the traps in Lair of Summoning on Reaper. (He can search out the boxes, but not disable the traps.)

I tried another trapbox (the first of the sonic boxes) and he was able to get that one. I am wondering if he is making a secret DR on the disable trap attempts much like we do.

Are you using any buffs?

Spells? Feats? Past Lives?

It is good to annotate those as these can effect the skills.

I have 3 druid past lives and ships buffs, but no spell buffs. So +7 to all abilities.

Saltmarsh is lvl 3 and Lair of Summoning is lvl 5. Frogo is a lvl 3 hireling - I would not necessarily expect him to get traps there, especially on higher difficulties.

Frogo got traps in Lair for me along with all other 5s (STK, Necro1). He reached his limit at L7 Sentinals where he would blow boxes. Can still get locks as high as White Plume Mountain though so not sure what his ceiling is on locks. He also has otherwordly reflex saves. Took no damage from trap levers in Von 3 or 4. All this was on reaper.

Frogo got traps in Lair for me along with all other 5s (STK, Necro1). He reached his limit at L7 Sentinals where he would blow boxes. He can do traps in lvl 9 content (von3,4,wpm), but he can also open locked doors in lvl 14 (16 on reaper) like PoP in gh.

My guess is that the feat "augment summoning", or how it is called, would help boosting him, and buffing him with Heroism as well ?
