View Full Version : Crashing in Saltmarsh

Is it just me or is everyone crashing in the Saltmarsh outdoor zone?

I've been out of the game awhile, but when I saw the expansion today I bought it, made a new character, spent a couple hours in Korthos, The Harbor, and Marketplace getting Coin Lords faction with no problem. Every time I go to Saltmarsh the game crashes to desktop less than a minute into the zone, sometimes immediately.

This is the first I've heard of it. Is there an error message?

No, just a straight crash to desktop.

Sounds like a graphics driver rendering issue.
I used to know a player a few years back that crashed every time they zone into _______________. Forgot the zone though, but it was graphics intensive. It may have been that Ravenloft quest Wrath of the Earth but I do not recall. I think it may have been too many graphical assets for your GPU driver/GPU to load and it crashed...

I'm having a fairly regular 3-6 second lag lockup in the quests, maybe twice an hour, but no crashes. Wilderness zone not having issues. Lots of lag in the public area which isn't surprising with so many people in there right now.

Thanks, new graphics driver fixed the issue.
