I am able to log in to the Server selection page, but when I select Sarlona and click "Play", the game crashes. This happened for the first time yesterday; after reading all of the suggestions at the Knowledge Base and trying them all, I uninstalled and reinstalled. After a couple of hours of that, I was able to play. Then, tonight I go to log in again and the same thing is happening.
I am on a Lenovo running Windows 10 that is fully updated. I am a VIP and have been playing since beta. Has this ever happened to anyone else, and if so, how did you fix it?
Thanks in advance!

If the DX9 install posted above doesn't help:
Can try editing the UserPreferences file under Documents>Dungeons and Dragons Online:
Try changing ScreenMode=FullScreenWindowed or ScreenMode=Windowed and see if either of those help.
Some laptops have integrated + discreet GPUs which can sometimes be an issue. Might needs to do a setting change along the lines of (might be slightly different then this depending on your specs/etc.):
Enter NVidia Control Panel ,Manage 3D settings ->Tab Global settings->Preferred graphics processor -> Select Auto or High performance NVidia processor

Might also want to check that your virus checker isn't removing some of the DDO files, some virus checkers have erroeneously flagged the DDO files.

OK going to try these! Thank you!

You can also try tweaking other settings in the UserPreferences file like directX version being used and other stuff (just be sure to backup the file first) to see if any adjustments help.

I had that trouble a while back, turned out I had a trackball mouse plugged into the computer.
DDO seems to require at least at certain times verification that a "real" mouse is plugged into your computer, otherwise, it crashes.

No trackball mouse here...
I have opened a ticket with SSG. I was not able to find a phone number to call anyone. Hopefully SSG is better than my company's outsourced IT department at addressing and resolving tickets!

I was hoping that today's update would fix this, but no luck :(
Still no answer from SSG on my ticket.
