Problem with Vistani Knife Training I and Eldritch Knight Strike

Hi there, like a number of others who are looking for interesting twists with Shadar Kai and the Chain attacks I decided to try a build I have been using with Gnome.
Rogue / Wiz, Shadar Kai, Assassin, EK, Vistani.

There is a problem with attack speed when I have Vistani Knife Training I chosen as an AP.

When I use Eldritch Strike there is a perceptible 3 beats before the attacks happen.
It feels like it is happening on other attacks too, although not as long as ES.

It was bugging me as on my Gnome of a similar build, it just felt like she was so much faster in her attacks.

So I swapped out Vistani Knife Attack 1, voila, the attacks are like a hot knife through butter now.
The Eldritch Strike is immediate and all the other attacks flow quickly.

Could you have a look at this please?
I would really like to have that extra + 1 / +1 to attack / dmg

Tips, in the early going, Keen on a good weapon is very nice on the chain attacks, as well as the buffs from Vistani and Eldritch Knight.
