I'm new. Game's fun, except for the lag. I hope one of the new EDs has lag reduction-- #7kDDOptsOK.

Anyway, my Q:

The phrase "class changes" is ambiguous. Does it mean X number of class changes from my level 1 starting class, or does it mean from the classes that I chose?

For example, if I use a Lesser Heart on 3 ftr / 2 rog, will it remain 3 ftr / 2 rog, or will it force 5 ftr?

I'm hoping it's the former, so it's probably the latter heh.

Thanks!~

Lesser heart +X level changes are (mostly) up to the user. Take a look at the wiki page (https://ddowiki.com/page/Lesser_Reincarnation) for more than I'm going to type ;)

Each level you take while Lesser Reincarnating has a dialog box that makes you select your class. If you're using a +X heart, you can deviate from the path defined by your leveling order.

In your example and using a +3 heart, a 3 Fighter / 2 Rogue could swap up to three of those levels to any class combination that is possible in that moment. If your level order was R-F-F-F-R, you could theoretically (and unwisely) use that "+3" to change to that order to F-R-R-F-R; even though the net effect is 3 Rogue / 2 Fighter, you've still swapped three distinct levels due to an order change. Alternatively, you could use that +3 heart to pick up Bard at select places, becoming R-B-B-F-B

This is expanded upon in the wiki page, but you also have to make sure that you...
- Do not have four classes at any point. That's mostly an issue for complicated multiclass builds for which you're using the +X to swap from one splash to another. Depending on level order, a 9 Druid / 6 Fighter / 5 Barbarian might be restricted in when/whether they could swap out those Ranger levels
- Don't break alignment rules. Paladin and Monk need to be lawful, and are therefore mutually exclusive with Bard and Barbarian, which must be chaotic. Druids have to be semi-neutral
