What about this bug? Anyone else getting this? It started after I TR'd after this last update. Once my toon takes damage for the first time after logging in, his body suddenly begins acting like he's continuously taking damage and also begins cycling through several different grunting sounds like he's getting hit. It doesn't stop, even in public areas, until I log out/in. Of course, the next time I get hit, it starts all over again. My dude is starting to embarrass me in public. Gyrating about with a tail that looks like a "stiff zipper" and making sounds like he's in heat. Very, very, annoying.

I see that the release notes say “The pause after swapping equipment has been reduced,” but it doesn’t say by how much. Has it been reduced to what it was before U49, or is this just another half-baked “hack” that doesn’t actually fix the problem?

Only asking because you guys tend to give specifics when you think you’ve actually fixed things, and are extremely vague when you haven’t. It’s kinda disconcerting knowing that the patch notes for this are pretty vague.

Can you elaborate on that? Does it mean that at 1750 favor I can get Eyes of Darkness (season 1 reward) instead of Overlord Collar? Or can I get both?

An attempt to avoid scrutiny and challenge may be the goal here, but they’re going to get a metric deuce-ton of both simply because of how they went live with a bunch of half-baked, or outright broken garbage code in U49 that necessitated this patch to begin with.

Also, why is this being called U49.1 when they essentially had to release an update less than 24 hours after U49 exploded in their laps? Shouldn’t this U49.2?

It means you can get the rewards from the previous hardcore seasons if you earned them then. You can not earn the rewards from previous hardcore seasons on the current season.

It means that if you earned a reward during a prior season you can now pick it up on the Hardcore server too.

There is normally a weekly reboot every Wednesday at 9 am eastern US time. Sometimes this gets overridden if there is another update going out that week. This week it appears that it went forward as scheduled.

Yes, I know that they do a weekly restart, but then it is usually still announced in the launcher so that people are not wondering what's going on, especially after they just had a downtime. Keep in mind that any potential new player would be super puzzled or upset.

Oh yeah I agree, I'm not excusing the lack of communication, especially since the entire team is programmers and scripters and repetitive announcements like these are precisely what basic scripting and task scheduling was designed to do.
