Question for Dev's,

After U49 there is a lot of the Deepwood Stalker tree that is very weak, and Improved Weapon Finesse is completely worthless. Are their plans to at least replace IWF with something and maybe buff the active attacks that used to be somewhat valuable because of the expanded crit range?

Improved Weapon Finesse still works the same and it isn't completely worthless. Also, most of the active attacks are good, so I'm not sure what you're talking about.

No plans for further changes to Deepwood Stalker at this time; we're still keeping an eye on where Bows land as more people play with the changes from Update 49.

As for Improved Weapon Finesse, it now has no specific use for bows, but is still valuable for hybrid builds or melees that may be splashing into this specifically-meant-for-hybrids tree. If you were taking Improved Weapon Finesse before on a Bow-dedicated build, congrats! You now have 1AP you can safely spend elsewhere.

Deepwood Stalker tree would feel more complete if there was a tier 5 that gave +1 to crit multiplier for melee weapons that worked with Improved Weapon Finesse. Then it would truly be a hybrid tree and folks would actually take tier 5 for melee and not just use for ranged builds.
