Seems the second valve where the skellies spawn on ledges doesn't open when you kill all the skellies. I got one of those champs that spawn oozes pop which I killed pretty quickly, before it could spawn an ooze. Or maybe the ooze spawned under the world? Is the game waiting for me to kill the non-existent oozes?
I utterly hate this quest so will likely skip it now.
