So since the update ammunition you pick up in quests show very high base values. 100 +5 bolts show a base value of 320,000 PP. 100 +5 throwing daggers have a base value of 480,000 PP. The only real upshot of this is you cannot sell this stuff to vendors.

Oh no! Newer players will quickly end up with as much worthless plat as older players and might be able to afford a single rare augment in the AH! Quick! Shut down the game and hot fix ASAP before newbs get a slight advantage!

Finally tried it, ran 5 levels, quickly lost interest and completely forgot about it. But good point. That I kinda get.

There is an apparent cap on the amount a vendor will allow for selling. By splitting the arrows up into smaller lots people were able to get around that cap and sell arrows/bolts/throwing items at a huge profit.

The hilarious part is (at least on the HC Server) is there are no really good ways to fix this.
