10 haste potions are exactly 200TP so in theory you got what you paid for. Whether do 10 haste pots worth 200TP or not is a completely different question. (I don't think so.)

No, it shouldn't have been difficult, because they have done so in the past. I want to say 1 per account.

But my experience with the Blessings rather than encourage a splurge for more, was rather meh... 2 potions of some kind IIRC and not XP. But my RnG luck is notoriously poor though so it makes better sense for me to just save my points and purchase what I want rather than gamble them for the promise of some random goody.

I remember about 8 years ago easter egg hunt. 30 mins later *** is this. give us tokens for events,raids, and ALL the 'crafting . TOKENS to exchange for what we want.

Yeah they know the rewards are horrible, devs outright said so last week. Knowing that, they should've removed Blessings from the store, because its such a bad gamble that its basically predatory to even offer them, as evidenced by OP.

The egg hunt mechanic itself is mildly entertaining, especially with Horses now where it isnt such a narrow margin of success. But it needs to be entirely decoupled from DDO points, and updated with more worthwhile rewards.

Originally, this event was popular because of the chance to get a great Tome, back before Tomes were easily bought in store. The % was very low, but the payout was considered huge (at that time), so "worth the gamble".

Times have inarguably changed.

Honestly the event needs to be completely changed. I think it was changed in 2012 (or maybe it was earlier) to its "current" form and from what I remember it was better than the previous iteration. It hasn't aged well at all.

Instead of focusing on all the Nerfs they should focus on this event and update it. Use the map from Detour (https://ddowiki.com/page/Detour) and make it "festive" in honor of The Traveler and go collecting. Of course a countdown timer and some traveling road bandits will be just some of the obstacles you must overcome as you collect eggs to the cottage :)

Well, to be fair, we were never actually "promised" good rewards. Cordovan even said that the rewards would remain unchanged, and that the devs were very much aware that the event had obsolete rewards. He said it in a couple of his forum posts. I think they just wanted to run an event for old time's sake, and to help people clear the buildup of tokens from their bank toons.

Do we have bunnies anywhere? I don't recall seeing them in woodlands but a pointy-teethed rabbit boss would be a neat MPHG nod. Maybe some sort of challenge where you collect as many eggs as possible while fighting off birds and bunnies maybe pixies, collect special eggs hidden in random places for more stars.

But the only Easter/Spring themed rewards that come to mind are a variation on the bunny helms, maybe that green leafed robe I was so disappointed wasn't available in Feywild, some variation on Elemental Bloom perhaps (in style not in effects), a cloak of flowers or flower petals? There's a rare design for a Wondrous Heavy Mace that looks like an egg on a handle. They could do something with the Bouquet of Flowers too, change the type of flower or color to make it look more spring-like, maybe make it an orb instead? Still would love to have a crown of flowers. Cosmetic pets could include Bunny, Butterflies, some birds other than those in Falconry like Robin, or Dove.

Unfortunately most of the symbols/symbology for Spring sort of lean toward druids more than any other class. Eggs, seeds, baby animals, flowers, butterflies.

I'm sorry are birds and Pixies NOT attacking you in the Feywild? cause they won't let me so much as run past them without trying to kill me. I'm not the one that initially put good aligned creatures in the Feywild as mobs. Have you never ran the Stormhorns where you need venison and foxtails? I'm just tossing out ideas built upon what already exists.

Now I refuse to sacrifice Nibbles in Tower of Frost but Nibbles is a named NPC and special. But random animals that will attack me on sight ...I would have no compunction about defending my character.
