The wolves have been hungry for a new challenge so they dropped down to heroics to knock out a couple of nostalgic raids on R10. Great job by Ying, Fakkie, Speedy, Lookana, Dom, Noobi, Kanra, Epic, Jen, Tanky, Matty, and Gisty. This took a surprising amount of planning and gear farming to get right. Great work by all.

Everyone was level 19.

Spent a couple of hours the first night getting reacquainted with the raid after 7 years away, and got to part 2. Can't tank in the lava, because it really hurts on R10 so had to learn some new tactics. Our biggest problem was DPS dying during part 1 from being thrown into the spikes and AOE spell damage. Most melee rebuilt themselves with Improved Evasion for our second night of attempts, which is why there are so many Rogue class symbols. Scourge 10 Rogue/8 Fighter/1 Monk using dual Phospor was the melee build of choice (h/t to Gisty for the build).

For tanks we had one 16 Barb/3 Fighter (Speedy), and one 12 Monk/6 Rogue/1 Fighter with 55% Dodge and 27% move speed (Epicsoul).

Two healers (Lookana and Kanra), and 2 (3?) Inquisitive.

In his usual fashion, Matty dominated the adds with his DC prowess. Stone to Flesh is the go-to spell in part 3.

For Part 2, spell absorb is a must. Horrid Wilting does 1500-ish, which one shot any of the melee. It was the largest source of death during our successful run. Our dodge tank kited the shadows.

Part 3 was a straightforward tank and spank. We didn't opt for the extra chest because on a whim we wanted to wrap things up quickly and do R10 VoD, before we lost too many people for the night.

It was good fun, and quite nostalgic for most of us who had farmed this into the ground when ToD was fresh content. We had someone who had never been in ToD before. Talk about trial by fire. :)

It's taken a bit to get this up on the forum due to holidays/spring break. We completed the raid the night before hardcore 4 started, knowing half of us would be gone for an extended time the next day.

Even more impressive, no EDs, nice job.

Being a level 20 quest, you can run Reaper when you're 20+. And I think get full Bravery at 23. I've been in 20-23 Reaper (only R1) runs.

Heh, I remember that problem from Elite runs in the old days.
