This thread is a warning to those who haven't wasted remnants on this item yet. It is NOT WORTH IT! This potion only lasts one minute, and has a 5 minute cooldown. It can be dispelled by any means. You can get potions that last half that time (30 seconds) for a couple platinum pieces from House Kundarak, and these have no cooldown. Also, using one of these eternal haste flasks causes a cooldown timer on all of your other, more useful eternal flasks, such as deathward or freedom of movement. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! You've been warned.

The deathward one is also meh to have when Visor of the Flesh Render Guards can be obtained easily.

Yeh, not to mention it can be dispelled, meaning it's kinda useless vs beholders.

At the beginning of any melee / ranged life, I hop on over to House K and buy 5+ stacks of Haste Pots (to start). It's bound to my middle mouse button, and I happily jump-chug through every quest.

I used to do that but I stopped a couple lives ago, don't know why.

The Eternal FoM and Heal are pro'ly the best. The first is used only rarely and situationally, and the 2nd is handy all the time, but ymmv depending what your favorite build(s) already have.

(p.s. - Note that ALL "Eternal Flasks" share cooldowns, so you effectively can't have 2 running at the same time. Practically speaking, this means that having more than 1 suffers diminishing returns.)

Displacement can be good too, for getting more mileage out of clickies.

I find displacement to be far and away the best. Everyone has FoM from L10 on. DW from TR.

Eh I'd much rather use like Dodge/Sheltering/Insightful Dodge booties than Flightfoots - at least on most toons.

Also I've been able to cast Displacement for like my last 5ish builds, so YMMV.

Everything is useless vs beholders except for songs.

I have the DW Bottle and love it. I carry a stack of 25 normal DW pots incase of an emergency. Knowing the quest you are in also means knowing if you need to use the DW or not.

Of all the Endless ones, DW is the most useful imho, 10 min duration, 10 min cooldown

Gear works vs beholders FWIW - FoM and DBlock, although that doesn't stop negative levels.

IMO FoM for that reason; there's DW clickies, but not FoM clickies otherwise :p

There are a lot of random gen boots with sheltering on them so I guess that could be an option for a new player that doesn't have a sheltering slavers item from 8+. I play Paladin on racial TRs so dodge(s) are pointless. Obviously, if you can cast displacement you don't need it but any type of melee will get massive mileage out of one GS displacement clickie and the displacement bottle. Bottle also fires off quicker than the clickie so it can be a lifesaver if you find yourself with angry agro and start seeing your HPs tumble. Flightfoots also accept FF in the yellow slot so they have enormous utility for me. One of my favorite heroic items in terms of bang for slot.

use spell absorption gear swap, it counters the dispel. you still can't cast in antimagic but your buffs will not be dispelled.
