What is meant by the Wisdom modifier to hit and to damage +10 on weapons like Valorius?

Viewed from it's other characteristics, Valorius seems like a poor cousin to the other lvl 28/9 scimitars, Nightshard, Vulkoors and Fractured Elegance, but I note this characteristic but do not get what it means. I am thinking this must be a feature for use by druid bear and wolf builds.

It means the default to hit/damage stat modifier is not the typical STR, it is WIS.

Ah, so it isn't underwhelming, it's just very niche.

Its not really niche...there are lots of builds that use WIS as their combat stat. Most do it through Falconry, but this would let you free up some AP there.

Plus, dont miss that the damage type is Fire. This would let you bypass the DR on any monster with physical DR. Also gets 5% bonus damage from Tiefling racial fire debuff.

Take a good look at the Valorius.

The WIS to Hit and Dam modifier only goes to +10. It doesn't go to +15.

Every weapon on the wiki has +10 there regardless of enchantment or stat

It's an expression to mean that one has finally realized something, usually when it was fairly obvious to others or a surprisingly long time coming.
