Lesser Reincarnation, can I hold levels?

Suppose I have a high-level character, not necessarily level 20, but higher than level 3 or 4.

Suppose, also, that I have a friend who's interested in checking out DDO and wants to do a few quests with me, and so creates a new level 1 character.

If I use the free Lesser Heart that my characters start with to lesser reincarnate that character, do I have to rebuild them up to their original level again right away before I can do anything else, or can I wait before re-taking those levels, so that this character can always be at an equal level to my friend's new character?

I know that Iconic characters can take their 2-15 levels at their discretion, and so can run with lower levels characters before they choose to go all the way to 15, but is that also true for Lesser Reincarnating a character from level 1 to level x?

Teleport, Greater Teleport, Bottle of Barovian Mist, Key to Eveningstar, Passport to Sharn, Teleport Rod, Passport to Hall of Heroes, and the Feywild Tuning Fork, have all been tried and they do not work.

Thanks guys.

I'm disappointed that my plan isn't going to be an option, although on reflection there would need to be some way to avoid a situation such as going to the *cough* "wrong" *cough* trainer to re-take one of your levels.

I wonder if maybe in the future it would be possible to have the reincarnation lady among the other trainers, and that the other trainers completely ignore you if you're in mid-L.R.
