Hi all,

returning player, back then there were no domains, now looking to make a fire domain cleric and had a question: what about the crit chance?
To elaborate, fire domain lets you use the higher spell power between light and fire for light and fire spells (and similarly do other domains) but do the spells then "share" the crit chances boni (i.e. from equipment and/or enhancements) too?

So if I have X% light crit chance and Y% fire crit chance with X > Y, will my scorching ray sla use the X% crit chance?

Thanks

Spells still use their usual critical chance, domains don't change it. So better equip a radiant lore item.

An old build that I played and thought was good.
You may find an idea or two in here.

At cap, this is a nice ring if you can squeeze into your tetris setup; covers both radiance and fire stuff in one go. https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Legendary_Ring_of_Summer%27s_Heat

At cap I ended up with ~85% fire crit, +100% fire crit damage, 95% light crit and +65% light crit damage, the issue is our only strong AoE light nuke is Holy Smite.
