when is next hardcore season?

I’m assuming they’ll put it in the same weekend as the new raid goes live because that’s pretty much what they did with the last hardcore season.

There are a lot of factors to balance - all the feedback (pro and con) for "moar!" or "less!" HCL, same w/ possible changes to HCL format and any coding involved there, timing conflicts with other events over a 90 day period, and so on.

Each player has their opinions (and there are other threads for those), so no need to rehash here - we'll know when they know.

I think we are stuck talking about HCL here, because on the General forum...well you all already know what that turns into.

I hope the swap the free lives thing for something more D&D ish.
My opinion (that is all it is) is one life, but you get 30 seconds
to be rez'd by any REAL player in your party or maybe 1 minute.

NPC Hirelings should only have a small chance of success (or none)

and limit the number of times a party member can rez you to twice.

If you mostly run solo then you can have year long hcl. Just endlessly make new toons

More D&D'ish would be like this, dead no more than 1 day per caster level and resurrection/true resurrection increase that time, so more like the live servers is what your wanting :D?

I was very happy to hear the announcement on the DDOstream that the 4th HCL is being scheduled to start in the very near future :D

I like the two events per year format that Severlin talked about on Wednesday. It does sound like a good balance moving forward.
