On a 17 fvs/3 fighter. Pure monk should be able to shave a few seconds off that.

I care just enough to second this. Truth to tell, because the course does not appear to be timed, I go as slow as I can to get as many coins as possible. Less chance of falling off, and the end reward chest doesn't seem to depend on time or amount of coins gathered.

It would have been fun to create a large diverse course with various ramps and optional routes with scoring and then leaderboards (that I would probably never be on...)

It's literally a 0 skill time sink that meters how quickly you can max you inventory on festive bonus augments.
Woulda been cool if it had jumps that required some technique to reach gold coins.
Oh wait ...

I am averaging 1.7 minutes per run. That includes collecting all coins and time lost due to lag. It does not include time spend running back to Miss Flurry after each run to start the next.

If you don't care about coins and only want a fast time, you can jump off the starting point straight down to the end in about 5 seconds.

And Tony Hawk controls! I would never leave the event!

Everyone with an exp pot, loot or power boost going.. Potion timers are not paused.

I’ve been taking my time and averaging around 1:15 without lag. Lag spikes more than doubled my time because I wound up off the course a lot.
I’ve been thinking about trying it without feather fall just to see how far I get before I go off the side.

Mats are BtA and there's functionally no XP or returns for running this on your main, no? Just make an alt to run it if you're concerned for pot times etc.

Sigh, why did half of this thread have to belong to people who simply must complain about it? Come on guys, it's just a fun speedrun thing. Why can't people just have fun without people who don't like to do that particular thing for fun coming in and trying to list their reasons as to why it's not fun? If you don't agree with seeing this event as a way to be introduced into a fun speedrun-type activity, then just ignore it. No need to tell everyone why you don't enjoy the idea. There's nothing really wrong with it...

34 seconds is now the best solo time:

Group times are also welcome. Just don't submit as a solo time, please.

37 and 34 are some great times. Nice job. I haven't tried to get a personal best time yet, but I will at some point since in my experience keys are very easy to get just by playing the game aka not farming. It's doubtful I can get 30-40 second times but I'll give it a shot.
