They already said they were working on it.... but they should have added this already when they removed the codes. Or not implement these changes yet until the alternative is finished. They are shooting themselves in the foot now by not making any way of gifting possible anymore.

Previously you had noted an option to purchase a gift code instead was a priority for the new store. Is this still correct and do you have even a quarterly target for this feature?

Any chance of adding a bundle at some heavy discount that mirrors what the DDOFREEQUESTS code provided - for people who missed that offer? (Had a friend join the game who thought they had applied it - forgot the last "S" and got an error but was so overloaded with a new game they didn't realize it didn't go through... sigh)

Really need to make the gifting a high priority. I know several people who want to gift store items to others. If I know several then there are most likely more customers in game then you know. I would love to buy some of the added items from the expansion packs, like the dire bear for example. Some would love to upgrade old pack for the added items, like the bottle or sharn tickets.

The new starter pack should be a priority buy for all new players.

The one problem with the Expansion Trove that I can see is that it will create awkward holes in content for non-VIP players who purchase it. I would make a content pack that includes all non-expansion content for a single price and not too heavy a price at that, maybe $30 tops.

The marketing of the game has changed a lot over the last few years and it would make sense to let premium players buy all the DDOFreeQuests content minus the expansions at a buy once and be done with it price.

When I purchased the content as a premium player it was a lot easier to sort out what you needed and where the good buys were. The confusion now is largely due to some super packs and some not so valuable ones. It makes sense to bundle the good with the bad so that at some point in their play history newer premium players will actually venture into The Inspired Quarter (as an example.)

Various Permanent gold seal hirelings is low hanging fruit and a lot of money left untapped into TBH. The fact that the majority of the ones that exist at this point are from higher tier expansion packs really is sad.. if there were various Level/monster typed etc Perm gold seal hirelings for sale I bet a lot of people would pony up cash for them.

NGL the only thing that tempted me into almost buying the higher tier expansions was the Perm hirelings but I just couldn't justify THAT much money just for a hire. But i'm willing to bet a significant number of those who did buy the top tiers did so for the hire as a major reason.

One other issue with the new Market is the lack of time/subscription purchase. Through the in-game store, I can only update my subscription when my old one ends. This makes me a little nervous that my stuff or progress will be lost if I'm a little late on the click. I always like to update subscriptions a day or two in advance just to make sure and I could do that before. Now, not so much.

I bought Fables of the Feywild in the DDO market and made the purchase on 4th Jan (or perhaps even a few days earlier as I got the confirmation emails on 4th Jan and I remember there was a slight delay) and the expansion is in my account, but I didn't have to use any redemption codes. So the transition date is certainly not 11th Jan but some earlier date...

Technical support told me that the reason is in my physical location.

Other (newly created) accounts don't have this problem.
Means that the location information stored in my account. I've tried to change it via https://myaccount.standingstonegames.com/home.php, but it doesn't work.
I've asked technical support to update location information based on my rights stated in the Daybreak's Privacy Policy three weeks ago, but still don't get any feedback.

Is there a plan to address this issue?

BTW: Codes would be the easiest solution for such cases.

Sorry, I hate to be negative on a game I like and have played for so long. But, I have to say it.

The new market is not ready. Lots of people have been having issues with payments. It flat out does not work for people outside US and EU. Please fix it before pushing through this change, because that's how you push away paying players.

I've been trying for months to get any sort of non-canned response on the new market issues. I haven't received any sort of acknowledgement that there is an issue, much less an attempt to solve it. Only a standard "it won't work for you, deal with it". I asked to escalate the issue, only to receive the exact same canned response, word for word, months later.

Can we finally talk about this? Or will you keep pretending like the issues don't exist?

Force another Elieri on me? That's not an issue, that's a feature! Why wouldnt anyone want another Elieri? She's BTA so you can pass her to an alt and not have to juggle her every time you TR one of your chars. I rolled a char on HCL last season JUST so I could import another Elieri :) I might even pick up the starter pack again for Dborn + Elieri 3 since I have 3 playing alts!

#1 priority should be AN Adventure Pack Trove, bundle all the old Packs up through Age of Rage and stick them up for $40 or $60 or however much. Basically sell the packs we got for free this summer, so players who missed that boat can still catch up. I think that's perfectly valid under the Market model, where you can ONLY get it with $, or you can grind out individual packs with your game-earned DP if you want to stay F2P.

Well i got a credit card statement saying i made the purchase of the Starter Pack twice a month ago. i tried a second time and a third time because the webpage would not give me a solid confirmation, it would just say one line of text something along the lines of: "we are processing your request" and stop there and hang. Now it is a month later here and the Starter pack (lvl 3 hireling, xp pots, etc.) has still NOT been delivered to my account. I sent in an email to customer support a week ago and they sent a reply saying "we are reviewing your request" but nothing since a week ago. Maybe to make it up to me, your collosal failure, you can just give me my Starter pack and go ahead and give me all the new stuff that comes with the updated version of the starter pack as well that you're talking about here. I mean since it has not been delivered yet... and i made the purchase a month ago around my birthday, 2 weeks before christmas. Took three tries to make the purchase of the ultimate feywild expansion for it go through and also took three tries to make the purchase of $60 worth of ddo points around new year's eve (needed that racial enhancement upgrade tome which wasn't there in the store for the last 2 years or whatever and who knows WHEN it will come back). those two purchases were* however delivered to my account but the Starter pack is still not delivered even though we got the card statement saying two purchases made of it. apparently i made purchases to 3 different entities looks like, here's what the statement says if that helps any: Daybreak Game Company L CA $140.71 (that's the ultimate feywild expansion), and DRI*DDO CA $64.94 (that's the DDO points) and then there's these TWO charges of $10.81 to: (full text here as it is written-) 12/17 DRI*SSG orderfind.com MN 3 different entities apparently took the money, wondering if that's where the problem is and why the starter pack has not been delivered? i seemed to note that the information processing on that part of the ddo market was differently coded than the page where you buy the new expansion, seemed older and more out of date, no buy now confirm button etc.

I checked the DDO Expansion Trove! but what about if I already have Menace of the Underdark and Shadowfell Conspiracy and I just want to get Mist of Ravenloft standard edition, will you add those expansions as the way they were added to the previous ddo store? I am a returning player, last time I played DDO was on 2017 and I wanted to get Mist of Ravenloft. So I'm wondering if you will add the expansions as indivual packs as they used to be.

I've asked technical support to update location information based on my rights stated in the Daybreak's Privacy Policy three weeks ago, but still don't get any feedback.


This need to be fixed ASAP from SSG/Daybreak side, this is a shameful example of how they treat their users, especially users who buy a lot of DDO points, i.e. who pay a lot more than regular VIP-users



BTW: Codes would be the easiest solution for such cases.

This need to be fixed ASAP from SSG/Daybreak side, this is a shameful example of how they treat their users, especially users who buy a lot of DDO points, i.e. who pay a lot more than regular VIP-users

I don’t know if it’s because they’re ultra lazy with problem solving, or if they simply no longer have the required brain power, but nearly every major decision SSG has made over the last couple of years has been in the wrong direction.

I am talking about 2 things to help solve Klarnar's issue:

1) Misunderstanding with users who cannot buy anything from the new store because of limitations of 3rd party company who provides billing - must be fixed urgently, techsupport must react on that issues less formal and more quickly. Leave the weighty legacy of Turbine behind, I believe that as a new company SSG can treat users better than Turbine did (in terms of support)

2) Ability to buy anything as a gift must be returned into store

I can't buy anything from the DDO Store for 6 years already, since they've switched to Xsolla. But I still could use DDO Market. Now that option gone too. Nice move, SSG. Can't imagine how it would help you though...

I signed in with my main character and had the ticket/bundle package to open. When i did I noticed i did not receive the Dimensional bag, astral shards, or the two different sets of potions. Let’s make a couple of things perfectly clear here:

1. I’ve been playing this game for much longer than the join date on this account belies, and it’s a super safe bet that I’ve thrown far more money at this game than you have.

2. ALL of my gripes about SSG’s complete and utter ineptitude in everything they do are so well founded, even the BBB gives them a failing grade...which is super hard to do.

Where has the time-limited subsciption gone ?

I don't want to subscribe continously, and I don't want to have to cancel subscriptions. I want a subscription that ends at a clearly defined point.
There was a thing like that in the DDO Market [ 2 months ] but I can't find it right now. Is it completely gone or am I merely too blind to see it ?

Eh, I live is the US, and the DDO market is not working for me either. It always just makes a $0.00 purchase to my credit card, and then tells me I already own it (It being the Feywild Ultimate Fan Bundle). I was planning on buying 2 of those, but now I guess not. The last time I tried in game ddo store purchase of points, it worked fine, but I don't honestly remember whether that was before they broke the store.

Welp, guess I'll save a bunch of money this year, so not all bad, I suppose.

EDIT: I guess I should add that I submitted a ticket on this, and last I heard, it was being "forwarded to the team that could help me". That was quite a while ago, though.

Re previous starter pack: The old starter pack was a different offer so to get the dragonborn favored soul combo you would need to buy the new pack. Any perks from the old one won't double up (like if you had the cleric hireling from the old version it shouldn't force two clerics on you)

Re older xpack fancy editions: We are working on some newer offers that will provide ways for people to get some of the collector and ultimate goodies from the older expansions. That includes even some recombination into different types (like maybe people might like an "all universal trees" bundle or stuff like that, we're gonna find out!).

Any updates on this?
New raid, possible money from Uncle Sam, would be a great thing to be able to allow players to do to help other players!

Hi,
with the Anniversary sale on Races and Classes I wanted to buy the missing options. Did went mostly ok (got the reciets) but after logging in today I noticed two things:

1) I bought the Wood Elf variant-option (have reciet) and could create one in the generator, but the in-game shop still offers it as an optionable buy;

2) as I wanted to add the last missing options & there is a double bonus points sale I wanted to buy extra DDO points from the in-game store, using the same payment option as in the past (PaySafe). However, while the menu still offers this option, it send me straight to asking for a My PaySafe account, despite not being over 50 Euro’s. Befuddled I Searched this Forum and read you don’t accept PaySafe anymore - yet the Store does still offers this payment option, albeit in the guise of a My PaySafe account.

What is it? Is the Forum post correct and is this a faulty glitch, or can one use a PaySafe card and/or MyPaySafe account to buy points? Ivdon’t want to register &load up a MyPaySafe account if I can’t use it to pay for DDO .

FYI, that can happen if you have 2 or more subscriptions under your account login. I have my old original subscription and a f2p sub under my account, and when I tried to buy feywild, I got the same thing happening. The way to bypass that is to login to your account first and then go to the ddo market. It will then give a different option to select which subscription you want to purchase the expansion on. I learned this through trial and error. Ever received help from ssg

You might be able to purchase them from the in game store for points but I am not sure on that.

Not from the DDO Market anymore but they are occasionally available from the in-game DDO Store (no idea why they aren't just added permanently) or from Steam (https://store.steampowered.com/app/206480/Dungeons__Dragons_Online/). IIRC the latter gives you a product code you apply to your DDO account.
