Lookin for some input on what would be the best self healing solo inquisitive build that isnt fvs or cleric based. Really dont wanna join groups at times and be pigeon holed into oh look we have our healer. Thinking high ranger base or maybe alchy based. Any input would be helpful.

Any particular difficulty level? Just heroics, or epics too?
My easiest life was as an EK Inquisitive. 18 Wizard / 2 Arti, 12 points in Harper, 11-21 points in EK (3 or 4 cores), remainder in PM. It's more of a "ignore your health pool" kind of build unless you're above low reaper, in which case the PM auras fall off too much.
Otherwise, probably Alchemist. There's good VC synergy, you're even more of a one-stat wonder than a Wizard, and you can pick up a CSW Admixture SLA with a modest Apothecary investment

Alch is awesome and frustrating at the same time for self-heals. There's time when you'll die because a self-targeted heal pot will just decide it doesn't want to land on you. But other then those times, the heals are strong, temp health on casts based off INT is silly nice in heroic levels, and lots of CC starting at low levels makes them fun; pairs really well with inquisitive.

I kinda like Ranger as a reasonable compromise. Artificer 4 / Ranger 15 / Barb 1. Lot of free feats, strong secondary DPS tree (DWS), Evasion, CSW, FoM.

Aasimar have Wisdom-based "healing hands", means you need at least Wisdom items or a few points put into that.
Halflings have a Dragonmark of Healing.

How about forgoing healing & going the repair route? Go with warforged & either:
wizard with 2 levels of artificer: secondary in eldritch knight (spellsword imbue currently stacks with law on your side) plus just enough in harper for int to hit & damage, then you'll have a whole raft of arcane spells for extra damage, crowd control & whatever as well as some trap skills & the rune arm for its extra imbue.
artificer: less harper needed since you can get hit from there & then damage from the arty spell, put points in renegade mastermaker tree as secondary &go with adamantine body too. It'll have less dps than the wizard option but you'll have a lot of durability with some great party support through admixtures, converter etc.
Another alternative that's been mentioned already is aasimar - I've run a wisdom based 18 fighter/2arty inquisitive/falconry build that was really effective, but it could work just as well including a bunch of rogue levels for sneak attack damage.
Druid using inquisitive & falconry is a bit out there but effective & people still don't really expect them to act as main in-combat healers, but feats can be tight.
