Thick Hide not stacking

The Thick Hide enhancement from Nature's Protector enhancements still doesn't stack with other sources that give Natural Armor. So the +[2/4/6] Natural Armor Bonus doesn't do anything most of the time. I asked this on one of the streams ages ago and the dev (don't remember which one) mentioned this Natural Armor bonus should be stacking with other sources. So I'm wondering if this will get changed sometimes?
