So as of this morning, I have ransacked this chest 47 times, still no reaper stat helm. ( not only have a ransacked this chest, but 95% of the time, I reroll 3 times on it). So.....47 ransackes x 7 times each = 329 chances x 3 = 977 opportunities to get the reaper stat helm, and no luck ( this is also not counting for the other people that have come to loot for me and not got it either)


Looking for any proof that this is possible to get. ( picture of any Fey helm with a reaper stat on it).

I am starting to think that reaper stat helm are not apart of the Fey content.

There are 4 different types of reaper bonuses, but the wiki doesn't say if the stat bonus has a different probability than the others.

With that many chances if you didn't see any reaper bonuses at all it would seem bugged. If you saw other types of reaper bonuses it's likely just bad luck - had that with another helm where I got all the other 3 bonuses but never the reaper stat bonus. I've only pulled reaper stats on maybe 5 helmets total since they started dropping.

I've had around 50 loots of the same chest and haven't seen a reaper bonus of any type yet - but my sample size is way to small to draw conclusions.

If you haven't seen a single reaper bonus I would stop re-rolling because it's likely bugged - maybe they need to run on a switch of some type for that item. If other reaper bonuses are dropping on the helm I doubt the reaper stat bonus is hard-coded for every item - they likely just include reaper stat chance on any helm that can have a reaper bonus.

I have 4 Reaper/ Mythic helms from this quest, but no reaper stat helm. Just was wondering if the reaper stat was taken out of the Fey quest chain for some reason. I have 11 reaper stat helms on my main account ranging from level 6 to 29.

Reaper stat helms have a 1:1000 drop rate. So you still have ~23 more chest pulls to go.

On a serious note. If reaper boost of any kind appears on feywild helms, then the reaper stat bonus exists. No reason to think that there is a separate "off" switch for the stat bonus.

You simply had 2020 luck. Good thing is 2021 just started.

I have had approx 1300 chances on a reaper stat helm I am currently farming ( with another 1000 chances from friends that have come along).

I have been asking others that farm like me and no one has pulled any reaper stat helm from the Fey pack.

I would love to get a Dev to chime in here .....or on the DDO discord..........and anyone who might have proof that they do drop to let me know.

many have 5-6 reaper ability +2 helms from many different quests. but I too have never seen a reaper ability helm from feywild which was what op was pointing at

If nothing else there's a strong likelihood that Feywild reaper stat hats are at least dropping at a proportionally lower percentage compared to usual reaper stat hats.

It's also possible the OP has just been unlucky, but there's easy proof if they're wrong and that proof has yet to be provided.

There's no real way to really tell the numbers on our end as players. We can sort of imply certain numbers through data gathered, but that'll always be just a best guess situation with whatever information we base it off at the time. Also RNG is involved after all, so that can skew results in all sorts of ways if left unchecked (which it will be in case of loot drops).

I've seen numerous Reaper Stat helms since its availability; a few my own. At least 6 more for others that I checked on, and numerous more for others. Others have never seen it before.

Another example: Back with the old Mysterious Bauble drop rate, back a while ago, I questioned the validity of the 2% drop rate despite essentially going down to a 0.5% or 1% drop rate check (more than twice the amount required to essentially see one drop, but hit nothing). And yet on my main, I had given one away, then decided I could actually use one too (this was a LONG time ago when Shavarath was end game still), and then ran it against straight away on the next immediate run. And had it drop in my name off the bat. That's RNG for you.

Supposedly it's equal chance, at 25% each possibility for the Reaper extra, but I'm guessing some may be weighted more than others.

You might, but expectations are merely that. If you have a 1 in 1000 chance of something, it's a fallacy to believe with certainty you will get 1 if you roll for it 1000 times, or 2000 times, or 5000 times. Your 5001st roll is still 1 in 1000 against. You may expect that a drop will happen in that sample but nothing is guaranteed. You're right 2300 is inconclusive. I'm not saying there are no such items in Feywild. I'm saying as matters stand we don't know one way or the other. Conjecture is fine. But it's only conjecture.

You are absolutely correct. It is possible that the Legendary Crown of Snow is omitted from obtaining a reaper stat bonus. I bet the devs said "lets turn just this 1 helm off and watch the animals eat each other"

Unless I have just been unlucky my best guess for the chances at a feytwisted chance between and 1 and 2%. I farmed both wilderness and the elemental chest in Make Believe R8 way too much It's definitely well below 5%. OP isn't talking about feytwisted chests at all though.

I assume OP is trying to get the Legendary Crown of Snow with Reaper Ability Bonus (+2 reaper bonus to all stats) specifically for a caster. OP already acknowledged seeing other types of reaper bonuses, but not the reaper ability bonus.

Nobody has posted a helm, but when reaper ability bonuses were added people were posting screen shots almost immediately. So OP is requesting that if anyone has a feywild helm with a reaper stat ability bonus to post it - so far nobody has. It seems OP's assumption is more likely than not given the facts and lack of a single screen shot showing a feywild helm with the reaper stat ability bonus on it.

Though I have seen Reaper Power Boost, Reaper MRR and Reaper PRR Helms. Just not a single Reaper Ability.

I am not even a little mad about it, but I think they should add reaper ability bonuses to feywild helms. It's the most current content and if someone is on the fence about buying it - this is not going to help convince them to make the purchase. Also they are going to lose out on rerolls for sure.

Only been farming the Summer, but have helped out the starter of the thread try to pull the winter helm.

3 characters per week since launch of feywild. 24 chest pulls a week with rerolls. spending to many shards if they aren't dropping.

Most likely a money sink that SSG does not want to admit too for forgetting to put the Reaper Ability helms in the loot table for Feywild

As I mentioned above, we'll have to wait until another Treasure Hunters Weekend comes and goes before we can make any meaningful conclusions regarding whether Reaper STAT helms drop in the Feywild content or not.

It really looks like a bad edit. Compare the background color, it's like somebody used Paint to hide part of the original text.
Look just below where the "p" in "Reaper Bonus" is. There's a plain gray background that seems to end just there, and then continue with the normal background.
The only place in the whole text box where that plain, textureless gray is used is that singular Reaper bonus text box.

I keep my screen brightness quite low and I couldn't tell that ... so I copied the image, brightened it up and saw that you are correct: this is a very shoddy editing job. Must try harder.

In the Lava Divers channels I have access to (all but the Officers' channel), I haven't seen this pic posted, nor have I heard of any guildies pulling it.

I'm guessing it's a fake as others have suggested.

It took me around 9 Ransacks with 2 toons. all running with boost (1 of em is a chest blesser). And i rerolled all rolls with out the reaper helm. so roughly around 600 pulls.
