subtle flex first.

Just soloed ADQ 2 at level on R1 today, as I normally do as part of my leveling, and pulled a Mythic boosted Torc, pretty stoked even though I'm not sure how relevant it is in todays DDO.

my question is, various enhancement trees give bonuses to hit and damage, mostly just saying 'these give a bonus to the rolls'. Do they stack? For example
Inquisitive Crossbow Adept, +1 to Attack and +2 to Damage with Light and Heavy (non-repeating) Crossbows.
Battle Engineer Crossbow Training: +1 to attack rolls with all crossbows. +1 to damage with non-repeating crossbows.

can I stack those to get +2 to attack and +3 damage? Or do they all count as enhancement bonuses. Never really sat down and done the math, and figured since I wanted to post about my loot luck, I might as well ask!

Now if I can only pull a SoS...:cool:

You need to see if they say equipment bonus, enchantment bonus, profane bonus, etc.. If they are the same, they usually don't stack. Also, congrats on the Torc.

AFAIK every one of those stacks; they're untyped. You can also test easily if you can afford to respec your enhancements, just look at your Inventory drop-down before and after you re-grab each enhancement :)

There's a few enhancements that specifically "increase the enhancement bonus" of a weapon, like Harper Agent T1 (https://ddowiki.com/page/Harper_Agent_enhancements#Tier_One) has one. Even so I think that stacks with others, as it increases an existing bonus instead of adding another bonus of the same type (going from +3 to +4 instead of having two separate bonuses of +3 & +1). That said, I think those are just remnants of an older design era that will probably be cleaned up sometime :)

FWIW most enhancements stack, there's only a small number that don't (and a handful of enhancements that are available in multiple trees that don't stack with themselves).
