We were able to adjust our strategies, bring in some de-buffs and we got LoB down on R6. This is a really fun fight. Fantastic job by Ben, Sno, Epic, Speedy, Kanra, Dom, Viamel, Gunga, Death, Kobe, Shav, and Gisty.

Here's some insight into the raid composition, because we want other raiders to succeed at this level of game play:
3 tanks
3 healers
1 melee
3 throwers
1 gxbow
1 alchemist
Tanks have the most punishing requirements. They all have at least 120 reaper points, and one of them is capped at 156. Five piece LGS Opposition is an absolute must have. Paladins offer more HP over other options because of 10% sacred from Glorious Stand. Paladins also have access to Unyielding Sovereignty which is huge, because tanks die a lot in this difficulty. One of the tanks is Bladeforged -- an experiment for the 10% damage reduction. Even with their huge HP totals, it's still not enough especially with LOB's debuff.
Healers are in US for the survivability. They can take one hit from trash mobs without dying. Both FvS have Unyeilding Sovereignty for the same reasons as the two tanks do. The druid has 3 levels of Favored Soul.
The melee has one job: Stay alive to debuff the boss with Knock on the Sky. Without it, the LOB tank will die. The jury is still out if this is going to be enough to succeed in R7+.
Throwers are 11 Rogue/6 Ranger/3 Bard using Wide Open Sky. Ranged is key because of the top pillars, and they're less likely to die compared to melee especially when LOB starts whirlwinding. Debate continues whether Fury or Shiradi is best for LOB. When the pillars need to die ASAP at the end of the encounter, it's hard to argue against Unbridled Fury.
The gxbow is 13 Rogue/4 Artificer/3 Ranger in Shadow Dancer using Volley for 41d6 sneak attack damage, -50% fortification, Fetters of Unreality, and the ability to remove sneak attack immunity from constructs.
Alchemist is more about the player than the class, though their versaility with instakills and nuking makes them better suited than wizards or sorcerers for this raid. Gisty literally wrote the 'how to alchemist' guide for R10 gameplay.
Succeeding at this level requires a huge amount of coordination, especially with debuffs and buffs.
Debuffs:
Knock on the Sky (our lone melee)
Purification (Purge the Wicked)
Dust (Wide Open Sky)
Vulnerability (Volley)
Destruction (Deconstructor augment)
Shattered Device 4pc
Bound Fate/Grim Fate
Shadow Mastery
Buffs:
Crusade
Concealment via cloud is a must have for the LOB tank.
And if it's not obvious, let me be explicit: Casters are required to consume mana potions at this level of gameplay. The alchemist "only" went through 15 potions during our successful run. Healers go through more than that, and it's only going to scale up as we push skulls higher. Additionally, everyone is using consumables to maximize DPS/healing/survivability, including Festivault cookies, remnant/store ability pots, commendation potions, and daily dice PRR/MRR/RP/SP elixirs.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I don't understand how come there's not more people (ssg staff members, etc.) commenting on this thread to congratulate those guys for this completion.
I've rarely had that much fun watching a ddo video. I dont like watching ddo videos. but not that one.
This is a rollercoaster ride. classic scenario where the heroes lose big time before seeing the light.
A few times you think they will wipe and even they were calling it a wipe at some point.
Best line: 1:19:30 +- Omg I'm tanking all of China!
Special thanks to Carpone, master of details, for taking the time to post about the group strategy.
This is real DDO. :)

Agreed, there are only a few achievements here on the forums I'm actually impressed by, and this is one of them. Very nice.
