Help Me Understand: Storm's Bulkwark Augment

Please help me understand how the Storm's Bulkwark augment is valuable.

Min level 28
Bound to account
"Wards against the Knockdowns and Slows of an Air Elemental."

That valuable augment slot for a very niche use for that high a min level and not tradeable/saleable?
When I see something like this my first assumption is "I'm missing something." Can anyone help me out here?

I guess you can put it in a switch-out item, for when it is really relevant. Given the current state of the game, I can't think of any place where I would bother. The place I'm most likely to be annoyed by air eles is Desert slayers. Even then though, it is annoying and not actually threatening.

Maybe they know of a future boss fight or similar where it will become super relevant?

Perhaps it has a place in future content like the to-be-released raid.

Some augments are just ways to get access to a useful extra effect without needing to specifically gear for it, though ML28 for it seems far too high - ML12 to be in line with deathblock would be better for that effect as-is, and a real "storm's bulwark" one at that level would IMO be a combination of that immunity plus, say, 30% electrical & sonic absorbtion.

Epic Fleshmaker's Lab, maybe? Still not sure it's worth the inventory slot for a swap item though

Ward doesnt block knockbacks though...just knockdown and slow

Its definitely a niche item. It would be worth the slot if it was "immune to all slow/knockdown".. that would be useful against those **** druids in Ravenloft.
