Announcing the High Lords of Malkier's 7th annual community Halloween Party, with all new trivia questions for prizes, a costume contest and Trick or Treating!! The fun begins at 10pm ET on Halloween night and will go past midnight!!

DETAILS

Trivia
Trivia will feature at least 50 all new questions with a portion of easy and newbie friendly questions, pen and paper D&D questions, other D&D themed questions, and a bunch of DDO questions for beginners and veterans alike! Trivia will take place at the upper mailbox in the Harbor. Questions will be asked and answers will be accepted in general chat. Winners must claim their prizes in person immediately.

Costume Contest
While we don't really have "costumes" in DDO, we will be awarding prizes for creativity. This year's costume contestants will line up along the boardwalk outside of the Harbor lighthouse. Costumes will be judged by the High Lords of Malkier. We had an amazing turnout for our 2020 Halloween party! The entire event was live streamed on my Twitch channel vooduspyce and you can watch the replay of the entire event here (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/788579702).

We started the evening with a segment of easy and newbie-friendly questions with prizes that included many new player gear kits.

At 10:30 was our Trick or Treat special event! Ten High Lords were hidden all over the harbor and we sent trick or treaters out looking for them. Anyone who found a High Lord could open a trade window for a treat! Here we passed out everything from large bags and portable holes to Potions of Wonder and major mana pots!

At 11pm was the costume contest where we saw perhaps the highest level of participation of all time! Here are the contestants lined up on the docks outside of the lighthouse....

My guildies voted for their favorites and the 2020 costume contest winners were:

1st place: Nasuadu (winner 2 years in a row!)
2nd place: Journeymann
3rd place: Quequec
4th place: Hiisi
5th place: Liltipsy

The 5 winners were each awarded a cosmetic pet certificate! All contestants received a participation prize of 20 Potions of Wonder and Bigby's hands.

After the costume contest we continued trivia with a stint of pen and paper D&D questions before we finished with DDO questions until we ended the evening at nearly 2am!

Hundreds of prizes were awarded, from pet certificates and tomes to sentient xp gems and rare craftables!

There was a 5 win limit on trivia and the big 5 time winners were Megamman, Tylsin, Angothor, Miph, Nebume and Holz! 5x winners got a bonus 20 Potions of Wonder or 20 Gems of the Ocean's Winds!

3x winners: Moisst, Riceking, Nossus
2x winners: Myraon, Mistmore, Alexxandarr
