Character Undelete...

Once you put the request in anyone know if a) you still need to be logged in and b) roughly how long it takes?

Also anyone know where I can get a new brain going for cheap? Preferably one without the stupidity mode that mine has...

To answer my own questions now I have the actual answers....

a) Not required to be logged in. Thank god.
b) It's taken about 4 days. That includes a weekend. I wasn't in any particular rush though.

Happy to have him back. Grabbed the Blackrazor out of his inventory and deleted him again :)

Oof, good luck. Did you request in-game or through a website/forum spot? If in-game, might need to be logged in. Probably not if online? Just speculating though.

I'm guessing it should be fine, given their unclear timing etc? Probably better if you aren't logged on, but would need a CS rep to have an actual answer.

Good to know! Odds seem much better, although timing might be a lil bit. Still, if all you're after is SXP that shouldn't be a huge concern :)

I was under the impression that ssg do not restore deleted characters.
A friend of mine had his account hacked and deleted his toons.
And it was a big, no sorry we can't restore deleted toons.

Something may have changed, but I know that my brother (who played back during the level 10 cap era), and I were looking at the service in July 2020. I'm not sure if he's actually submitted his request at this point, but I know he was interested in at least one character that's been deleted for over a decade. Knowing that while not guaranteed, it may take only a moderate amount of time (ideally), is nice.

As far as I can tell, nothing gets deleted.

I deleted 5 toons in 2013ish, came back in 2018 and had all 5 toons restored. It just took a bit. So to OP, it might take some time, but they should get around to it.
