View Full Version : Just a quick question buying DDO points.

I'm trying to buy DDO points for a friend, but apparently I'm doing something wrong. I would think it would be intuitive but somewhere I'm messing up. Any help would be appreciated. Also, @SSG, I'm thinking this should be a bit more simple. Take my $$!

As far as I know, you have to put your payment details into their account and buy that way (but I obviously don't recommend doing that).

I believe you used to be able to buy gift points on the market but it doesn't look available anymore. https://store.standingstonegames.com/store/ssg/en_US/list/categoryID.58726000/parentCategoryID.58516100

I wish it would separate your earned points (favor etc) vs paid points ($$$) so you can take from your paid portion to gift people points or other store items.

Depending on how many points you want to gift and how soon, another option is to buy the 90-day sub option in the Market and gift that code. That'd be 1500 DPs (500 immediately) plus VIP benefits for 3 months.

Why not use PayPal in their payment information, buy the points/package/whatever and then delete the payment information from their account; and then remove browser cache. Restart their DDO and computer.

This should work.

Ask for permission for remote access LOL, secure remote access like TeamViewer, TightVNC. Its like local access. Remmina for Ubuntu Linux. Or there's zoom meetings and ask for remote control.

OR wear a mask and head to the friends house. Hopefully they are local.
