I was curious which are the "popular" high reaper quest people do at cap so I don't do one on just R1 while leveling.
I remember Amber Temple use to be one.
Memoirs was another...
Any others?
Thanks for the input.

Most people only do them once with the first time bonus. The ones who dont, are usually veterans who have every past life and just sit at cap farming rxp every day with xp pots.
After amber temple got butchered (fighting 100+ mobs trying to find RNG passwords is not exactly fun), i dont think anyone will dare to say what the good rxp quests are anymore. SSG cannot be trusted to balance quests properly after they completley ruined amber temple. Its a total nightmare to run with a normal party now. Emphasis on the "normal" part.
It is now one of the most universally hated quests in the game and people only run it at cap for rxp, gear and the saga (and everyone hates it while they are doing it). Almost every room and hallway you enter forces you to fight 6+ tanky mobs, including multiple ambushes by DDO Cliffracers (skulls) throughout the quest. And the xp is not even good when you are spending 20+ mins running around trying to get RNG passwords.
The fact that the end chest forces you to watch a lengthy cutscene doesn't help either which is why everyone skip it when its r4 or higher.
Instead of ruining amber temple, they could have updated older quests with QOL changes that people have been asking for years (like devil's assault), but i guess amber temple took priority because it was being farmed for rxp and SSG wanted to sell more xp pots...

Different people have different favorites, but I can tell you some of the ones I see the most often. Without a doubt, Lost at Sea and Grim and Barrett are two of everyone's favorite. You see those two in pretty much everyone's daily run. Subversion is also popular. Some people continue the chain and do Multitude of Menace as well. I don't see as much Memoirs or Good Intentions as I used to, but those are probably on the short list as well.
Some groups do the first 4 if the Disciples of Rage chain. Cogs is pretty popular as well since they are so short. Doing some of the shorter quests in Ravenloft can also be pretty popular. The Trial of the Archon's chain also gets run reasonably often.
Other than that, much of what I see is people running for first time bonus. I think people have finally woken up for the most part and realized that you get more RXP per hour by TRing (especially if you do Iconic TR's) and only running quests 1 time each, than by sitting at level 30 and getting only the reduced amount of RXP for repeating quests. This is even more true if you realize that if you have the skills to run R6 through R10 at cap then you certainly have the skills to run at least R4 while you are leveling. When you are getting 1000 to 1500 RXP for each of the non-legendary quests you are running in addition to the huge first time bonuses when you finally start the legendary quests, you are definitely earning faster RXP than you would be repeating quests at cap. Repeating quests at cap is mostly just done by the raiders and people that hate the concept of TRing and want to be level 30 more than anything.

You must be joking right? Amber temple is one of the best xp quest in the game be it in heroic or epic. It takes between 3 to 5 min to run and you have no boss fight, making it real easy to do higher diff.
On to dailies:
Grim and Barett; good intention; age of rage, madness of crowds, records of the past, strike back, members only, safety in numbers, mask of déception, Amber temple, Argyn (even whole RL saga), lost at sea, sharm welcome, cogs are all good quests to run daily.

Lol right, idk how ppl are struggling on this quest, it's easy. You have 1 scroll that matters and you can check 3 of its spawn points with only fighting up to like 20ish mobs. The last scroll has about 5-10 flameskulls that are easy and 1 spawn of ghouls/skellies. After that its just a few scattered mobs to finish.

Having a Cannith Crafted Search/Insightful Search item is really helpful in the Legendary quest since True Seeing doesn’t reveal those secret doors anymore.
Edit: I’m talking no matter what character you have since you can’t always count on a high Search character standing next to you when you want to open that door.

Yup this helps a lot and just as a side note TS still works on normal diff in epics for those using it as a daily while leveling (40k+ per run x2 on a sub 5 min daily is worth learning this quest for lol) .
Amber is still one of the best xp per min quests (especially for rxp) at or near cap when you know how its done. Only 2 of the symbol locations require more than 1 password so I would say average completion time for me (I do run this a lot though) is still less than 5 mins with my record for a completion @ 1 min 38 secs (post nerf with no loot on R8).
The catch here is doing this quest fast requires a lot of knowledge of the quest (being able to go straight to the PW locations for etheria when needed cuts the long run times by at least 50%) and either being good enough to solo or having a good group that are willing to work as a team and not run off grabbing agro.
Other good rxp @ cap quest are any cogs quest except smash and burn (terrible reg xp though), Castle ravenloft (requires DD and a lot of quest knowledge), Death house and into the mists. Each of these can be completed in under 5 mins solo with a good build and enough quest knowledge (av under 10 mins with average group willing to play follow the leader).

With FTB, just about anything L30 is great RXP. The Sagas are popular (Sharn, Cogs, RL) to tee-up for ETR. If you're worried about trashing opportunity for RXP at L30, just avoid all L30 quests until you're L29+ and geared for doing R6+. Your FTB is preserved across ETR -- safe to just go back to 20 and hit it next time if you missed it first time up to 30.
The ones I mostly worry about trashing are FTB quests for sub29, which can provide a huge XP boost. R1 Shroud, Spine, ADQ, and VON56 are really tempting to run at cap just to help folks do a raid, but have such an enormous XP push they're handy for sub29 on FTB to notch-up to the next gear or feat step for your current build.
The quests people run as "daily rxp" are usually non-saga: grim, memories, lost, subversion, mom, rage (usually not toxic). I rarely see folks dip into a saga for a daily, not even for something as fast and easy as Amber Temple. Finding Dorris is another that is very fast that I don't see people do for rxp (rarely see any Soul Splitter done at all outside gear farming).

Sharn Docks is super quick dailies. Finding Dorris is under 10, then hit safety in numbers, members only, and offshore account. Probably 30 minutes to run all 4. Don’t bother with the other two.

No you don't.
I (we) do get about 60 - 80k in about 2 hours of rxping at cap. Can always add more quests every day but that's about okay timeframe.
How long does it take you to get from 15 - 30 ? 20 hours ? 30 hours ? More time for inventory management and stuff.
Plus another thing is, people that tend to do nothing except TR, kinda .. are not good at high reapers.

Um...when was the last time you played this quest? They moved Eva to the library AND added a ridiculous amount of mobs to every single hallway and room. It is virtually impossible to do a 5 min run anymore unless you get extremely lucky, especially in heroics. Most parties in heroics struggle really hard to deal with the cliffracers because they have bludgeoning DR, spam force missiles and fireballs.
Typical mrak route :
-Open main doors, ambushed by mobs
-Drop down to check basement, ambushed by cliffracers once you enter the hallway
-Check both rooms in basement for mrak, if anyone walks too far into the room, mobs spawn (even if there is no scroll). This happens almost all the time because most people run right into the middle of the room, triggering the spawn.
-Check 3rd Mrak location on bottom floor, east room, fight mobs outside the hallway. Fight mobs inside the room again.
-Bottom floor, western hallway, mobs in hallway again. Go through teleporter to check 4th mrak location. Can't recall off hand if there are mobs near the scroll.
This is for ONE password. Passwords have also been known to glitch and not spawn, I had a run in which we checked all 4 mrak locations twice, and there was no scroll at all so we had to restart.
It is also extremely common for people to trigger more spawns by :
-Failing the jump on the 2nd floor when trying to get to the lich, triggers cliffracers when they fall down.
-Breaking floors, usually ends with the person dying and the party having to drop down to rescue him
Its very RNG. You can do a fast run if you find mrak in the very first location and the icon is right next to eva. But thats extremely rare. It's not consistent which is why nobody bothers farming it anymore. I dont know about your server, but on mine there used to be people who would farm amber temple frequently, but nobody does that anymore and everyone ive talked to says they hate the quest now.
Cliffracers also slow this quest down a lot for the average party (read : not a party full of r10 capable toons). Especially in heroics. It's very common to see someone die every time cliffracers spawns in this quest. Especailly when they fail the jump and die to the cliffracers on their way down.

Couple of tips for you on this quest.
1) always check east 1st and remember to use search at the back of the room then go through the portal inside (true seeing will work on heroics but not epics so 70+ search required then). Once through the portal clear the mobs and search again. Open the secret door and check the table in the center from the door. Do not step through the doorway if there is no scroll on the table. If the fireball scroll is there run in and collect then straight back through the portal.
This will give you 1 chance to get wish (25% chance of being there) and 1 chance for fireball (also 25%).
2) If the fireball scroll is in the 2nd secret room go straight to eva and you have a 40% chance of being able to complete without needing any other password. If no fireball scroll go to step 4.
3) if the stars align (about 1 in 20 runs) you will get the fireball scroll and have the symbol in either the library or castle. This can make for a less than 2 minute run on R1-4.
4) If there is no wish or fireball scroll to east then check south next then west (1st corridor to the south then through portal).
5) once you have wish scroll go up stairs then west, clear mobs then north and over the collapsing floor clearing till you get to the lich. Resto lich (pots of lesser resto from market work here) and get library password then through SE door to library and speak to eva.
6) Cant remember the cards here but if Eva says a room guarded by amber duty and fire (or something like that) or a castle made of parchment you will be in for the long haul as both of those need the disjunction scroll. Best advice I can give is go east from top of entrance stairs 1st as it will give you a 40% chance of finding the scroll as it can appear in 2 places on this side (1 in 1st room to east with orange named boss & 1 in the 1st room to north with the amber golems).
If you fancy a sojourn over to G-land I will be happy to give you the guided tour on where to go in what order for consistent <5 min runs (with a 10% chance of a 10 min run). As an alternative I would be happy to roll an iconic on your server but would need quite a bit of help to get him geared up enough to do a fast reaper run (as I would be stopping at lvl 13 so would be essentially gear less).

Nah I agree amber temple is a huge pain now. It CAN be quick if you're lucky, but like someone pointed out, not something you want to farm daily and hope it doesn't suck.
As for what good daily reapers are...um...any good/easy daily that is done on reaper lol? Something you don't like running on EE isn't going to be more fun on reaper (not til you have a lot of points). And legendary quests are going to be more RXP because they're all above lv 30.
My static group of 4 has mainly been on the TR train, running everything on heroic reaper, slowly building up chunks of RXP. A life or 2 ago we tried doing some legendaries on R4 and it was just so much more lol.
The problem is we don't normally build a team that works well together (not on purpose anyway). Basically, we make sure we have a trapper and after that play whatever heh.

It is further complicated because so many players, even the ones that are good at high reapers, tend to run leveling quests on low reaper because they say it is faster. Someone that can get 60-80k RXP in about 2 hours from repeating quests at cap can also get huge amounts of RXP from doing first time bonuses for lower level quests, if they are willing to run at higher reaper.
On occasion (admittedly rare occasion) one of those players that runs R8+ at cap TR's and runs R8's on leveling quests too. Those same skills that makes him good a high reapers at level 30 also makes him good at high reapers on the way to 30. Then the equation changes because now he is getting similar or more RXP for the leveling quests as he would for repeating quests at cap (and still gets full first time bonus when he does finally start on the legendary quests).

Dedicated group? 20 to 30 is 6 hours in a dedicated group. Add another hour or two for 15 to 20.
The game has become trivial to those who iTR and ran Amber before the nerf.
I do know Amber, and Sharn 1 and 2 r10 are on a daily for my server. But that group is insane and the speed that they whip through them was crazy.

I run this one daily. I solo it on R4-5 in 5-10 min (10 min on a Raven or Traitor card). In a full group it's faster since you can split for the mrak chase.
