So I rolled up a brand new Scourge (they were on sale), trained him up full ranger, by the wizard himself. Standard equipment except for weapons: Phosphor and Coronation. Ran him through a few quests, very happy in general.

Except I noticed that he never spots traps. A Cry for Help (elite) and Lords of Dust (normal), nada. He has a spot skill of 41, wisdom 36, level 15.

Now, normally, when something doesn't work, I figure it's my fault. So, what have I done wrong? Or, is this a bug?

once trap dcs get above a certain amount - you have to have trap sense to find them at least iirc
