Greetings one and all.
Back in my day, people were nuts about the new crafting system with essences and stuff and the newly released half-orc race. This was when I STOPPED playing. Now I'm back and I brought my cousins, friends and girlfriend. We're all in Thelanis (although I wished to go Cannith, might even go there by myself) and I have no idea what is up anymore. If you could advise me and answer a few questions:
1) I'll use the cupom for free packs forever (the reason I returned), and it says it's 1 per account. Is this in one char* per account? Or server? I'm not sure I'm making myself clear. Also how/where to use it.
2) Back in my day there was Reincarnation and Lesser Reincarnation. I tried to go for the Completionist feat, back when the max level was level 20. Now I have read a lot about it and still don't fully grasp it:
2.a) If I go all the way till level 30, do I get the past life feat and an epic past life feat?
2.b) What is thie epic karma? How does it work?
2.c) Can I get like, one char Wiz20/Fighter10, and then reincarnate and going Fighter10/Monk20 and it'll count as getting 20 levels of Fighter for the past life feat (and therefore the Completionist feat?)
2.d) There are race reincarnation? Is it separate from class? Or I can get both at the same time (let's say go dwarf fighter 20, and when I reincarnate I get fighter past life feat and dwarf past life feat). If not, what should I prioritize?
2.e) What are these iconic classes? They're just normal, if fancy looking, classes and races? Do I get iconic class past life and are they different (like the shadar-kai rogue life feat is different than a normal rogue life feat)?
3) I'm poor and the dollar is REALLY high right now in my homecountry (brazil). Since I'll have all adventure packs, can you help me prioritize what I should by next: Races (which one first, make a list if possible), Classes (I do not have druid, alchemist and warlock), Expansions (no idea even what the heck is that and what they add to the game), Others (bank space used to be quite an issue back in my day).
Thank you very much for reading and, if possible, answering these queries.
Hopefully we'll play together in Thelanis (or Cannith if I can convince my cousins...)

To answer in general, there are now 5 types of reincarnation:
(1) lesser reincarnation (lesser heart): this doesn't give you any past lives, it just allows you to change your stats, feats, etc around by levelling back up from level 1 to the level you were at when you used the lesser heart, a lesser +1, +5, +20 reincarnation also allows you to swap some class levels when you level back up.
(2) heroic true reincarnation (Heroic true heart of wood): you can use this at level 20+, it gives you a class past life, heroic true heart of wood is bought with tokens of the twelve
(3) racial true reincarnation (Heroic true heart of blood): you can use this at level 20+ exactly like heroic reincarnation, except that it gives you a racial past life, heroic true heart of blood is also bought with tokens of the twelve
(4) iconic true reincarnation (Iconic True Heart of Wood): you can use this at level 30 if and only if your CURRENT build is iconic and you started at level 15, it will give you an iconic past life as well as a class past life. This is the only way to get "out" of an iconic life. These hearts are bought with commendations of valor or heart seeds that you'll earn doing epic quests.
(5) epic reincarnation (Epic Heart of Wood): you can use this at level 30 on any character, it gives you an epic past life and then acts as a lesser reincarnation back to level 20. Also bought with commendations of valor or heart seeds.
After any of the 'true' reincarnations (2,3,4), you start a new character with all your past lives e.g. from level 1 if you choose a normal race, or level 15 if you choose an iconic. Lesser reincarnations (1,5) you still keep all your favor from running quests and so on, it's not a "new" character.
https://ddowiki.com/page/Reincarnation for more details
So to answer your questions directly:
(1) not yet released, more information no doubt forthcoming
(2a) if you are at level 30 and you're not iconic, then you want to do an epic reincarnation to get an epic past life, followed by your choice of heroic or racial reincarnation.
(2b) there are four spheres (martial, divine, primal, arcane), assuming you have an epic destiny you get XP toward the epic destiny as well as the same amount of XP as 'karma' in that sphere. The epic destinies screen will probably make it more obvious how that works. You need 6 million karma in one of those spheres to get an epic past life, so the best choice when you're starting out in epics is to fill out all of the destinies in one sphere in the same life rather than moving around everywhere else.
(2c) Epic levels aren't class levels, so you can't be e.g. wizard 20/fighter 10, you'd be wizard 20/epic 10 - there aren't any special interesting abilities for the epic levels themselves other than getting a bit of extra multiplying power on whatever you did before and new feats as you level up
(2d) Racial reincarnation is separate to Heroic class reincarnation, as above. What you prioritize is up to you - if you want to really push through a lot of lives quickly then racial lives are "better", if you're having fun playing at a more casual pace and just getting a few lives along the way then I'd stick to heroic class past lives.
(2e) Iconics do have their own separate past lives, as above. The classes themselves aren't any different though e.g. a halfling rogue has all the same things as a shadar-kai rogue. You have to take the first level in the iconic class e.g. shadar-kai have to have a level of rogue (*you can remove it with a lesser TR if you really want), but you can feel free to multiclass after that.
(3) I'd get both the first two expansions when they're on sale for 99 points each, after that see what you feel like you're missing out on whether that's bank space or more variety in races/classes.
Have fun!

1) It counts for all the characters and on all the servers for one account. You redeem it by accessing the DDO store in game and typing in the code in the redeem code tab.
2a) Yes. You can epic reincarnate and choose one any of filled destinies to earn that past life and you're character will now be level 20. You could level up to 30 again or do a racial or heroic reincarnate and become level 1 again and gain the race past life feat you were or the class past life feat you had the most of on that character. Each reincarnation type uses a different heart type.
2b) Once you have access to epic levels by buying the ability and talking to the fatespinner (a few of these around) You can select a destiny to start gaining XPs in. They work just like enhancements and as you get more XPs in the destiny you can fill out the enhancements your character uses. As you fill up one destiny others will open until you will eventually have all of them open after a few epic reincarnations. A single destiny will not give you the 6 million XPs needed to gain the past life so you'll need to start filling another destiny in the same sphere around level 27-28 to gain a past life for that sphere.
2c) You only gain class levels to 20, 21-30 are all epic levels. When you epic reincarnate you get no class based past lives, however you can earn completionist in epic levels by doing all 12 and open another twist of fate which allow you take epic enhancements from destinies other than the one you have active.
2d) You can take either a racial or heroic (class) reincarnation at 20, but not both. It depends on what you want. All these past lives offer some serious rewards. I tend to think the epic lives give the most bang for the buck, but other might disagree.
2e) Iconics are the things you have been looking for. They start off as level 15 toons with a specific starting class. You can erase it with a +1 reincarnation heart of wood it you don't like it. Iconics must level to 30 for an iconic reincarnation which gives you two past lives (finally!) for the cost of one heart of wood. You'll get and iconic past life for the one you took and a class past life for the major class in the build (10 cleric/2 Paladin/8 monk gets a cleric past life).
3) Focus fist on levelling a toon on each server to 6000 favor as this will earn you 18,000 DDO points. I call this toon the opener because it opens the drow race, the favor soul class, 32 point builds , and level 7 starts. If you get cannith favor high enough it also opens artificer. I then park this toon and never play it, becuase favor resets if your reincarnate it. You get bonus DDO points for the first time you reach favor milestones on each server. If you have the points buy the two monster manuals (one time buy that count for all servers) which will give you another 8000 DDO points as you fill them up just by playing. As a bonus you'll get to know the servers and find the one you like best. Since you'll have access to all the quests you need to level the only real things you need to buy right away are those monster manuals which will repay you as you play 7 fold and the epic lives ability to go past 20. Save your points of the races/classes/iconics that you can't open for free when you start knocking out completionist for race and class.
I believe we have a Brazil based guild on Orien that you might want to check out.
Welcome to DDO and good hunting.

I wouldnt seriously recommend grinding 6000 favor on EACH Server. I did 100 on each Server back in the days. Getting about 2000 on your main Server is nice for all the unlocks, though. I do 5000 this life but that takes a bit of work.
As for spending priorities:
The only thing you really need to play the game with the coupon is epic destinies, which is about 1000 ddo points. You should also get the first 2 expansions quests since theyre going to be dirt cheap. The new expansion quests, ravenloft and sharn, cost 2500 each but you can worry about that in august. Id recommend farming the sets until then if youre not sure you can afford them.
After that, Shared Bank is very convenient, with extra crafting Slots.
Races and classes arent really necessary at first, you will need them for racial completionist but run 12 lives with free races first, then do 3 drow lives, and then start buying other races with the points you unlocked during These 15 lives. Same goes for class past lives, the free classes are strong enough and FVS and Arti can be unlocked. So dont worry about classes and races right now unless you really want a certain build.

Now I'm back and I brought my cousins, friends and girlfriend. We're all in Thelanis (although I wished to go Cannith, might even go there by myself) and I have no idea what is up anymore.
Welcome back! If you do decide to move to Cannith then look me (in game Kurack) and I can jump in a group with you and answer questions etc for you via voice chat.
1) I'll use the cupom for free packs forever (the reason I returned), and it says it's 1 per account. Is this in one char* per account? Or server? I'm not sure I'm making myself clear. Also how/where to use it.
The coupon code is entered in to the DDO Store in game, there is a section called "Redeem a Code" or something similar there. Enter in the coupon code and you unlock the content
2) Back in my day there was Reincarnation and Lesser Reincarnation. I tried to go for the Completionist feat, back when the max level was level 20. Now I have read a lot about it and still don't fully grasp it:
These two basic forms have changed very little...
Lesser Reincarnation allows you to remake your character and can be done at any time (though once every 3 days, each type of reincarnation has a 3 day timer). You have to stick with your races and classes but your starting stats, all your feats and skills can be changed so it's very handy to fix a broken/messed up character.
True Reincarnation allows you to gain build points up to a maximum of 36 points and can be done at any time above level 20. Doing this will give your character a past life feat based on your dominant class (the class that shows on your screen where your health is) ---> https://ddowiki.com/page/Past_Life_Feats
2.a) If I go all the way till level 30, do I get the past life feat and an epic past life feat?
Once you reach level 30 you can do an Epic True Reincarnation (eTR) which will give you the Epic Past Life feat and then you can do a Heroic TR to gain the Heroic Past Life feat. eTR's use Heart Seeds or Commendations of Valor which you earn in the epic levels while questing, you can also buy the right hearts of wood from the store but I would advise against it since they are not cheap and farming the needed supplies is easy enough to do :)
2.b) What is thie epic karma? How does it work?
This is related to eTR's. In order to do eTR's you will need Epic Destinies which can be bought from the store for 995 points (I think) ---> https://ddowiki.com/page/Epic_Destinies
Each sphere can hold up to 6 million Karma (just a fancy name for XP) and is earned by being in a destiny in that sphere so it will increase as you quest. It takes 8 million XP or so to go from level to level 30 so this is easy to fill just by playing :) Once you have 6 million Karma then you can eTR in that sphere, if you have multiple spheres with enough Karma in then you can pick which ever one you want.
2.c) Can I get like, one char Wiz20/Fighter10, and then reincarnate and going Fighter10/Monk20 and it'll count as getting 20 levels of Fighter for the past life feat (and therefore the Completionist feat?)
Short answer no...
Epic levels are completely different from class levels. Class levels only apply to levels 1-20.
2.d) There are race reincarnation? Is it separate from class? Or I can get both at the same time (let's say go dwarf fighter 20, and when I reincarnate I get fighter past life feat and dwarf past life feat). If not, what should I prioritize?
Racial TR is, as you say, seperate from all other types of TR (much to the annoyance of many players, myself included). If you Racial TR then you will get ONLY that past life feat.
2.e) What are these iconic classes? They're just normal, if fancy looking, classes and races? Do I get iconic class past life and are they different (like the shadar-kai rogue life feat is different than a normal rogue life feat)?
Iconics start with a base class like Rogue for Shader-Kai as you mentioned. Beyond level 1 though you are free to multi class as you see fit. An Iconic TR can ONLY be done at level 30 however, it will give you the Iconic Past Life AND the Heroic Past Life at the same time (often referred to a double dipping). It is primarliy this reason why so many of us are annoyed that you can't do the same thing for Racial TR's :(
3) I'm poor and the dollar is REALLY high right now in my home country (brazil).
OK well firstly two of the expansions are going to be going on a massive sale which are Menace of the Underdark and The Shadowfell Conspiracy. Both of these will be in the store for 99 points. So grab those for that price if you can, also grab Epic Destinies since playing in epics without them is pretty painful. The other expansions generally go on sale around Black Friday so keep an eye out for those when the time comes, you can usually nab an absolute steal of a bargain.
As for classes I would advise not buying Drow or Favored Soul since they can be unlocked on your server by earning favour. As a side note once you unlock account things via favour they are PERMANENTLY unlocked on that server even if you TR the character and reset the favour. Backpack space and bank space are reset though but anything like classes, races, 32pt build etc will remain unlocked. Artificer can also be unlcoked via favor but it's not as easy to do, so if you really want to try an Arti at some point keep some points aside and wait for it go on sale and grab it then.
I wouldn't worry to much about buying the classes etc just yet though since you have a lot of content you can play through and thus earn a lot of DDO Points.
I do recommend looking at getting the biggest Green and Red bags you can get since this will help you a lot and save a lot of juggling around for things (if you come to Cannith a I think(?) I have a few spare large bags somewhere I can part with).
Thank you very much for reading and, if possible, answering these queries.
Hopefully we'll play together in Thelanis (or Cannith if I can convince my cousins...)
Not a problem and again welcome back!

I'm so happy to be back. I'll try going on around a bit and find myself. And I'm truly grateful to everyone who answered.
Thanks all, see you in the game!

This. Getting to 100 favor on each server is sane and nets you enough for points to start buying unlocks. Higher points on your main server is nice, but 6k is a feat to be reckoned with even on just one server. I think my normal 1-30 tr run only nets me like 2.4k favor.

If you have money you can afford to do less, but he clearly said he doesn't so I showed his how to get all the free points possible. You don't have to do it in one sitting those 6000 point opener toons are supposed to sit on the server forever anyway, so if you go to 1000 each server to give you a nice start and if you need more you can go back and grind out another thousand. I have 6000 point toons on each server with full monster manuals just for the free points and to open all the favor goodies.
As far as getting the points it's not hard at all I used to grind 5000 on every life just doing all the quests on elite each run to 30 and got me free +5 tomes for my stats. That's why since the game went free to play I've spent about 20 bucks on it and I have a guild member who made it his mission to never pay a dime to play and has double completionist and like 71 reaper points now.
Getting 6000 favor really isn't that hard (well over 7000 available now) when you play all of the qame instead of just grinding big xp quests over and over. Plus you get to see all the game instead of that lame dailies nonsense over and over, but you can't do it on reaper. Reaper with BB makes you level too fast and you hit 30 before you get to enough content, so you'll want to make elite pugs instead of joining reaper ones.
