Tough to say, but probably a well-run Tempest Spine. All that climbing, great immersion.

The STK chain, Xorian Cipher, Crucible, and Prison of the Planes are standouts. But... there are lots more.

Gianthold Tor is always a blast, but I have a strange love for A study in sable. Either that or White Plume Mountain. Such a fun and unique design compared to many other quests, but like most people I love almost every aspect of the game anyway so it’s irrelevant I guess.

MY FAVOURITE QUEST IN THE GAME?
The Legend of Two Toed Tobias {Heroic version}

Spies in the House.
It is ironic, because I used to really hate the quest. Then somebody showed me where to stand to do the jump up to the grate in the first air-jet room, and more importantly showed me how to 100% reliably use the air-jet to get up to the electrified level after freeing the final prisoner.
Maybe some day I will figure out the Pit and have a change of heart about that one too.

Haberdasher. What's not to love about a 1-room slugfest?
Of course, there are other 1-room slugfests that are not so good because you need to protect someone/something (e.g. Cannith Crystal).

This is a harder question than usual. The first that came to mind is What Goes Up, mostly for the music and the feeling of grand scale when you get outside (the pretty icicle rain at the end doesn't hurt). I'll always have an appreciation for Spies in the House because of the fun I had figuring it out my first time in there, and Haunted Halls has a unique charm as well. Then there's Project Nemesis, where I get to manage a laser and have a blast timing Rudus jumps (and get blasted if I miss one). There are plenty more special ones, but I'll spare you the rambling :P

If you had asked me some years ago I would have said Chronoscope, today I'm excessively fond of Invitation to Dinner.
Son's favorite is Precious Cargo, he really loves the airship battle, daughter's favorite is Partycrashers although she still draws my attention to the dragon under the ice in Misery's Peak with joy. Hubby's favorite is What Goes Up, he really enjoys the glacier crashing into the mountain. Watches it every time with something akin to glee.

Death House.
It is beautifully created and so atmospheric. If you really want it to give you the creeps, play it on two characters at once, the slight sound delay between computers when the children speaking is really creepy.

I am quite impressed with the work one on Ravenloft and I will say for now that Invitation To Dinner is quite thrilling.

What Goes Up?
The reason is multi-fold:
I like the ice environment for hot summers.
I like the music.
I like the story of a city in the sky.
I hate the villian!
I like the XP and difficulty

Tear of Dhakaan really jumps out, but a lot of similar quests are a lot of fun - the best have some traps, some puzzling, combat at a mix of ranges, and terrain/layout that's interesting but not too confusing.

but so many more good quests, would take too long to list them all.

Uh...now that's a difficult one.
Caverns of Korromar is my long-time favorite I guess. This quest really has all of it - great story, exploration, lots of additional lore to discover, some secrets and just the right amount of fighting.
The Prison of the Planes is my second favorite.
There's a lot of other good ones but I guess I'll just keep it at two to avoid an unnecessarily long post. :)

Mine is for sure Tear of Dhakaan and What goes up.
Seeing that fortress crash into the mountain really makes you feel accomplished.

Brothers of the Forge. It's a sad story that is revealed as you progress through the quest. I hope the future of the game lies in stories like this.

Eberron: Caverns of Korromar. Great story driven quest, eerie atmosphere, long without being boring.
Elsewhere: Invitation to Dinner. Fantastic adaptation of a very exciting and challenging part of Curse of Strahd. With replayability too!
But honestly, there are too many of them.

Either the quest that I step into and immediately get a bunch of xp or Euphonias Challenge(yes I went old school on this one...Get Off Mah Lawn!!! or join me for sweet tea and snickerdoodles...but stop standing around like an idjit!) :)

My favorite quest in the game? I think Partycrashers. I love how it has all the weird back ways in and you can "avoid" the end fight by doing the optionals.

Too many great quests. I'll mention Caverns of Korromar, Gwylan's Stand and Redwillows ruins because I love the colours and atmosphere.

05-30-2020, 01:20 PM
All of them. But if i had to pick:
Death house: I love the voice acting in that one and the atmosphere it's perfect.
A Study in Sable: Because that's a really different quest from the rest.
White Plume Mountain: No reasons needed.

Framework with an archer. I could do that for days. One of the few quests where I am sad when the map is cleared.
For melee toons, it's Ruined Halls. I like breaking all those boxes and having sort of rando monsters pop out.
For my rogue lives, Haunted Halls all the way. Love love love that quest.
For casters, it's Demon Assault. It's pure joy if you have the right spells prepped.
But overall, my favorites for just being girly are Maraud the Mines & Stromvauld's Mines. I wish there were more collect the gem quests. If you know a first time girl player, recommend those 2 quests and Partycrashers. Super fun objectives.

My personal favorite is DDO - yes I know, still every quest it has.
