Sensible shoes....

The ones I'd pick haven't been introduced. ...yet.

A nice useful set of boots/shoes with an attached curse of Dancing. Stats good enough to make it worth a 1% chance on being hit to involuntarily /dance for 3 seconds. Kinda like that scene in Gamer where the kid takes control and makes him to 'the wave' amidst combat. Better yet, procs a disco ball for 3-5 seconds that effects EVERYONE in range, friend and foe. :D

Oh. That's easy. Sophie's Sophisticated Scintillating Slippers of Striding, Springing, Soaring, Swimming, Sashaying, Sneaking, Spacewalking, and Socialiting. My auntie, a ascendant being and clothing designer of exceptional fashion sense, made them for me. They always match my outfit, render the wearer immune to fashion faux pas, even on a roll of '1', and no, you cannot have them.

Rock Boots or Spiked Boots, with their wonderful Immunity to Slippery Surfaces attribute. These allow you to completely ignore grease or ice effects, and as an added bonus make the Tomb of the Forbidden almost a fun quest to run...

Sensible is a word we use in German too, just with an other meaning. Sensible means emotional, touchy or delicate. Therefore I nominate the Madstone Boots as they are volatile and can throw a fit.

The most sensible shoes in Eberron would be Boots of Feather Fall. Any other choice wouldn't be sensible when you haven't specified who is wearing them, but everyone risks falling.

What's strange to me is that there are no sandals in Stormreach. Boots are really hot in a tropical city.

Personally i highly recommend heavy plate boots enchanted with a nice stride to get yourself away from trouble should the rest of your appearance become indecent, and some good old acid resistance to prevent them from getting dirty from nasty wizard spells.

The weight of the boots, alongside it's tough material will make it a pain for foes to remove or break off your person, allowing you to maximize sensibility by enforcing it to be that way, i'd recommend making sure it's got strength enhancements for when someone does get their grubby hands on it, you can kick them off quite quickly, i'd suggest getting a boost in swimming with it's enchantment to make it easier to wash off the blood when you are done.

And this my friends, is the recipe for the most sensible boots in Eberron, feel free to perfect my technique beyond what i have done if you wish. :)
